GOT IT'S DISADVANTAGE BUT GOOD.
LIKE IT. THEY ARE A LIITLE BIG AND ARE NOT HANDY FOR EVERY DAY TYPE THING BUT GREAT WHEN YOU HAVE TIME TO SET UP THE TRIPOD. GOOD CLEAR VIEW, WHISH IT HAD A ZOOM OPTION BUT FOR THE MONEY WELL WOTRH IT. I AM LIKELY TO @ LEAST BUT FROM BARSKA AGAIN ANYWAY; THEY SEAM QUALITY ENOUGH I MAY NOT NEED TO BUY A SET OF THEM AGAIN. I PURCHASED THEM FOR SETING UP @ HAZARDS MATERIALS SCENES, I AM APREACHER WITH A PARAMEDIC/ VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER HABIT IN RURAL GA. I CAN STAND Way off with them!

Fantastic. Check for broken parts
These badboys are huge. I get oohs and aahs everytime I break them out. They are not $1000 binoculars, so the image isn’t as crystal clear as those, but at 20x magnification they work well. The first pair I recieved had a broken focusing knob. I had a replacement pair in 2 days.

Big Binoculars from Barska
The Big 20 X 80 Barska X Trail Binoculars are a solid value. I use them to watch Dolphins across the Bay. Good construction, easy to use, and they provide a clear view. The binoculars have center focus and right eye diopter adjustment. There is enough eye relielf to use them with my glasses on, but I prefer to use them without glasses. These Big Binoculars must be used with a tripod as they are impossible to hand hold and keep steady. My order from Amazon was a good value and they shipped ontime.

Satisfied for 85 bucks!
These binos are surprisingly light for the size. These of course are impossible to use while handheld...at least for me they are.I have an old off brand all aluminum tripod being well made and very solid that's perfect for these.First night out I could see the need for collimating the Barska 20x80'sI fiddled with the screws for the prisms during daylight trying to focus on a light pole about 1\2 mile away.Wasn't too sure if my hurried adjustments did anything. When I looked thru the binoculars the following night to my surprise I had no more doubled images!Got lucky I guess.I really enjoy these binoculars especially mounted on a good tripod. The wife and I enjoy looking thru these night and day.I think they are just right for us.Good alternative to a hard to use small telescope.

These are a joke.
If it were not for the horrible collimation, the image would almost be passable. A bit of CA and SA, especially away from the center of the field. Not ideal, but acceptable for the cost. I am not sure of the barrel material. For some reason, I could not find that info in the description. Might be plastic, or a diamagnetic metal. The resolution is not great, and lacks sharpness and contrast. The focus is, so far, OK with almost no play. Too bad about the collimation. They would have be OK for casual viewing otherwise. Forget about astronomical use. The stars look like pinwheels, the moon has green on one side and red on the other side. Sharp focus is impossible. Basically this binocular is either a toy, or an insult, or both.

Better than Celestron 20x80
I bought these to replace my stolen Celestron – SkyMaster 20x80. Boy I'm glad i did, these are for me way better. the collimation was perfect even after the long postal trip to down under.. the bag that Barska provide way classier than the unpadded one i received with my skymaster's. the big test was if i would clearly see several of those Jupiter moons...yup excellent. Oh and let's not forget the price difference between these Barska's & Celestron. all-round, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Tried twice - returned both.
Ordered one, Collimation terrible. Returned for replacement. Collimation terrible on both. Although there are instructions for correcting collimation on The Web, both were too far out. Also, I don't think a new product, right out of the box, should require that kind of adjustment. It probably indicates that collimation will always be a problem, even if you can correct it initially. Neither the first or second item had clear, unblurred views (had to look through individual tubes, see above concerning collimation) after careful focus. First delivered binoculars had loose tripod mount. Second had loose, rotatable conical tube. I concluded that you probably can't get acceptable long distance binoculars for $100.

Gave awesome view of comet before it faded
These worked great right out of the box, no adjustments needed. To hold them steady you will need a heavy duty tripod - not the standard issue camera tripod but something made to handle the weight and balance of these binoculars. These have really opened up the night sky here where we live. We had a small Meade telescope and these are easier to use and resolve better images. Very pleased and would gladly purchase again.
