Good for the price

Lots of sanding bits. They don't last long, but that's expected for the price. Overall good value.

Great value

These were a great value for the price. Was happy to find them.

Great value...

Quality is not wonderful, but you get so many for such an aggressive price, that is makes up for the fact that you go through a lot of them very quickly.

Perfect for a hobbyist

These are a must have for anyone who has a hobby and they require to sand anything down. We are using them with sanding 3D prints and these just make the process go by so much faster. The best part is that you get so many of them so you know you will be good for a long time. The base fits almost any Dremel or hand held rotary tool. They are easy to install and require little to no tools.

Honest review

This seemed like a great value as I mostly needed the drum mandrels to put the sanding barrel on. Be aware there are two different size shaft posts. States" 12 piece drum mandrel for Dremel Tool - only 6 would fit into my Dremel, the other 6 were so small - couldn't tighten down. I'm unaware of possibly a different insert for smaller shafts. The quality of sanding drums is not equal to the more expensive Dremel sanding drums that last until there is no more grit on the drum. These came apart after 20 minutes of use on very soft drift wood. But hey, if you don't mind changing out the sanding drum allot (plenty of them) - then it's a good deal.

Do NOT waste your time, money or effort!

These things "take the cake" for the biggest pieces................ I've ever purchased!1) The 1/4"mandrels cannot be tightened enough to securely hold the sanding drums.2) Found my Dremel 1/4" mandrel and you cannot tighten it so that it holds the drum securely as they'll instantly split!3) The larger mandrels DO in fact hold the drums securely enough to use BUT the drums are worthless!4) Where I will usually be able to do my dog's toenails for months with the same drum, I went through 3 just doing his front toenails! The abrasive material literally flies off the instant it starts to sand! Bad enough that my pooch HATES having his toenails trimmed, but thanks to these pieces of junk, he was ready to rip my head off by the time I was able to do his front 8 toenails and his 2 dewclaws! I didn't even attempt to do his rear feet as I think he would have chewed me up and spit me out.5) I attempted to sand some pine board, just to see how long one of these drums would last. Forget it. You won't get 30 seconds out of a drum without at least a portion of the drum becoming "bald".6) The vast majority of the drums I have tried so far (a couple of dozen) have instantly flown apart where they're glued, in a spiral like shape. Not running at anything above medium-slow speed (about 30% of a variable Dremel tool) and they come apart the instant you turn it on.7) I've had at least as many split apart trying to get them to go onto the mandrel!I've bought my fair share of cheap, Chinese trash from multiple sources and usually don't review them because I figured I got what I paid for. I didn't even come close to getting what I paid for with these! THEY'RE USELESS!I am a lifelong professional over educated/certified to the hilt auto/truck & equipment mechanic. I'm a disabled veteran and ever since I had to sell my garage I've become a go-to guy for rebuilding all sort of power equipment, with a huge run on Stihl, Dolmar and Husqvarna chainsaws in the last month. ONE THING that can be done for those who want to get more power out of a chainsaw is porting and polishing the intake and exhaust ports as well as enlarging the holes in the muffler on some saws. I've had to go to 5 different stores to buy enough 1/4"and 1/2" Dremel drums as no one seems to stock any of these anymore. I truly wish there was a QUALITY 3/8" mandrel and sanding drum available as that size is VERY useful doing this kind of work. I have 5 OLD Stihl saws from one company and after porting/polishing the head on the last saw I rebuilt for them (limited version of a "HOT SAW"), they want every saw done as it comes up for needing a rebuild. These guys use nothing but the top-of-the-line Stihl saws and due to the simplicity of the older saws, they prefer to continually rebuild those instead of buying the newer ones that when they break down in the field, there's not a real lot you can do to get them running again due to the complexity of the newer saws. I'm finished with 3 of them and should have the parts for the remaining ones tomorrow as no one had enough Stihl brand parts available for me to get everything at once. These guys do NOT buy off-brand parts, and outside of the Meteor and Caber brands, neither will I.It's truly a shame that I had to go out and buy all of the Dremel sanding drums as HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE A SANDING DRUM????It MUST be more difficult than I imagine as this company, whoever it is that manufactured these, certainly is clueless! I have never been more frustrated with a product or more mad at myself for trying to save a few dollars in my life!I figure someone out there MUST make bulk sanding drums that are of reasonable quality. One day, maybe I'll find some!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE!
