Three Stars
The 3 Star is for the lack of information and the extra work it causes when you can’t use the item. The scraper blade does not work with the mixers purchased at Costco. They do not have a scraper blade for the mixers sold at Costco. Hoping that changes but as of now that is the case. 3/3/2018

Plastic but sturdy.
Didn't pay attention when I bought this. Thought it would be metal like all other attachments but it's plastic. Works great and hasn't broke yet so it's very sturdy. It also squeaks against the side of the bowl. I thought my machine was broke the first time but it only does it with this attachment.

This does NOT fit my Kitchen Aid mixer. Beware. I read the reviews and thought it would fit, but it was way too big. I have a stainless steel bowl, so just be sure of the size before buying.

Red color leaks into food 🤭
It works great but when I was making white frosting I noticed the red color from the blade was leaking into my icing. ☹️ Now I have to throw it away.

Doesn't Fit
I have a 6.0 quart bowl but this does not fit a 6.0 quart bowl. Need to return it.
