First off I didn’t have any issues with installing the item went smoothly and fairly quickly. I got to excited when I found this product and it looked correct I hit the buy button. What I discovered when it came I discovered the connections for the back of the chair were not the same I had to order a adapter. This is totally my fault!!! I’m unsure if this product has the total right connection for every chair nor did I go back and look for another.I will check next time I need another motor but so far it works great.

I ordered this to repair a failed actuator for a family member's recliner, but the problem was with wiring not the actuator.

I took a chance, I eyeballed what we had, I checked the connection types and they were compatible so I ordered this and easily swapped out the existing motor and now it works! Didn't need to replace the switch or power supply but wasn't sure exactly what was going to be needed so I wanted a kit like this rather than buying different parts one at a time. Time will tell how long this motor lasts. The OEM motor lasted 10+ years. New screws were provided which were needed - different head size though so I used a 7/16 socket to remove the old screws and had to use a 10mm to install the new ones to attach the arms to the new slide. Entire process took under an hour and now my recliner works again!
