They work great for horizontal placements or light vertical...BUT do not hang anything heavy vertically, it will slide out, use a tie to stabilize!

Bought for my rechargeable light bulbs ahead of a storm. These are so handy for that purpose. Easy to store when not in use because they're so small. Very pleased

They work as intended. Solid plugs stay firmly in an electrical outlet. Not flimsy like some others.

This filled a special need to place a dusk to dawn light where no light socket existed only a plug in was available. Used indoors for a LED low amperage item.

I love this idea! I get some long cords with sockets on the ends to plug my plant lights into, and these work just as well with an extension cord but I can use two lights. My biggest concern was that they wouldn't hold the bulbs in the extension cords very well, but they are nice and secure. I wouldn't use them for a big and giant bulb, but they work well for my little lights that are only on when I am home. These aren't pink, they just look that way in my purple lights lolI've tried these a couple of places and can think of all kinds of great uses. They are a great alternative for a dark corner and my husband already wants a couple to use instead of headlamps and lanterns when he is working in dark garages on cars, just hook up an extension cord, use a bulb with a plastic cover and it's easy to hook anywhere it is needed.I would recommend these if you need them for a specific job, or just a convenient gadget to keep around just in case you need it for an odd job where you need a little extra light.

I've been using these base adapters for my grow lights (E26 BASE). They are very good quality, no overheating, which would be a sign of cheap or thin conductive materials. The prongs are stamped with a UL approval, which means they have been tested and passed for functionality and safety. Comes in a nice box that includes a bubble wrap bag that the adapters are wrapped in for shipping. Highly recommend for any project that requires this base. I didn't feel that pictures were really needed for a socket adapter, but I can assure you that you will be pleased with this product. I've worked with electronics and computers for over 10 years, I know quality when it comes to these types of products.

I was quite worried about this not having a switch at first, but these do work without one. Note, if you don't use a breaker to shut the light back off once you're done using this, the bulb can be very hot still. Even when using an LED bulb. The construction of the body sounded like ceramic from the sound it made when removing these from the box but appears to be plastic. I feel ceramic would probably be a lot safer but these having a switch would be my main priority. All and all, these work great though.
