"Complete" set, what more is there to say
I bought this because of Sky monopolising the broadcast rights. When is a set complete? This set includes "Casino Royale" (the first of the Daniel Craig era), but I decided to go Blu-ray for that and the more recent films. Fortunately, removing the normal-thickness case for the Casino Royale DVD (the others are slim cases) left room in the box for me to acquire and slot in Never Say Never Again (not included in the set because of the different franchise). Each slim case contains two DVDs, one for the main feature and the other for the extras (I'm not interested in those, so don't ask what's on them). The main features play, quality is fine, so what more is there to say?

Bond is Bond but...
I've spent a few years looking at different presentations of Bond collections, wanting to buy one but staying away. Finally I made my move and bought this collection. The movies go without any further comments, if you like Bond you love this collection. However, call me old fashioned but I do still enjoy booklets and other printed extras in the boxes. This box is 100% booklet free, somewhat to my dismay..Personally, I enjoy flipping through the occasional booklet before deciding on which movie to watch. Here I can't.That is perhaps the only reason that keeps me from giving it the full 5 I think the series as whole deserves.

Bond review
For years I have been waiting for the right box set and each time when I am about to buy one, a new Bond film comes out in the cinema. So I wait again. This offer was too good to be missed. 20 films and 20 discs with special features. The introduction to each dvd says that the films are digitally remastered. Well, they've done a great job. All films are a joy to watch. Personally I am not intersted in the box itself. This one is nice and compact and not over the top. It's all about the movies. My own favourite Bond is: Roger Moore and my favourite Bond film: For your eyes only.

Really good value for items but poorly packaged
Arrived in good time and cost wise was good as well. However, each of the clips which hold the disks in place where all snapped so dvds where sliding inside the cases.

Good Set
A must for all Bond fans, a well presented and neatly laid out set this particular set has been well looked after and apart from some minor damage to the presentation box it is in very good order

The best quality ever.
"Through the power of a breakthrough digital process, we can now present the best sound and picture quality ever on DVD", so you will be relentlessly told at the beginning of each DVD of this collector edition.Granted, the remastering performed by Lowry Digital has revived the old movies of this famous serie and brought them close to today's digital standards. It is a real pleasure to watch.Unfortunately this achievement is partly stifled by two very annoying issues in this particular edition. The first one is the poor quality of the media, why spend so much effort in remastering movies when they are to be pressed on cheap, unbalanced DVD's? So despite the "best sound and quality ever", you will have to endure the vibrations and throbbing of the player - at least in one disc out of four in my case. Shaken, not stirred. The second point where this edition really fails is the presentation. On the whole, the menu animations are completely off, and mainly consist of naked girls wiggling ad nauseam in a quickly-done synthetic background. "Bad taste" is the best euphemism I could come up with regarding the presentation of the films and bonus features. The fact that the same remastering advertisment clip is imposed on the customer at the beginning of every single DVD doesn't really improve the overall feeling that a good product has been X-ploited and sold as quickly as possible. The bonus features are interesting to watch and provide a lot of information on different topics related to the hero and his author Ian Fleming. Fortunately, this obviously came from already existing material and wasn't subject to the marketing pressure and nonsense mentioned above. While the content proper is quite good and enjoyable, this edition suggests customers should wait for the next one in the hope it will be more competently put together.
