Good Switches

After multiple years of use, I haven’t had any issues. Still smooth and still quiet. I haven’t had to lube or replace any of the switches and have no complaints.

Works Perfectly, Very Recommended

I used 2 of them on my reddragon mechanial keyboard immediately after receiving them and tested it out.It fixed my old problem and felt exactly the same like the original switches. They fit perfectly and are very easy to insall.I keep all the rest of them as back up for future. Also, the price is fairly cheap.

Functional, if not Exceptional

I bought these as a cheap replacement for some old, scratch MX Reds in a clearance keyboard I got on Ebay. Not much to say here - they're decent switches. They work as well as any other generic MX Black clone should, and they're a good value. You can find nicer, smoother switches, but they'll cost a whole lot more, and these are very usable.

For me, much better than Gateron

I've tried both linears (red, black), and I prefer these over Gateron, due especially to wobble reduction similar to Kailh Box. Gaterons are smooth, but they're pretty wobbly (as are stock Cherry MX). I haven't tried Gat blacks, but I've compared Gat reds to Outemu reds, and the Outemu reds behave similarly to Gat yellows: fun and bouncy. Gat reds just kinda end at the bottom without warning. Both Gat and Outemu reds have that Sanwa-style immediate response gamers crave, the Outemu just feels more responsive.Outetmu has grit/scratch, but it's a smooth, consistent scratch, similar to rubbing your finger on nicely textured keycaps. Cherries also have this characteristic, it can be lubed away if you like. I enjoy it for now, but will soon lube with thick grease. For the money, Outemu linears have impressed me, they're worth lube and spring swaps, and the cases are tight enough not to need films. I can't comment on the blue or browns. If you have the cash and want a smooth, un-wobbly switch out of the box, Kailh Box is the way to go. If these budget switches interest you, I highly recommend you grab a few to see what you think. I was surprised.

Switches just as pictured

There is an ever so slight difference between these and the ones on my keyboard. But I don't think it will preclude me from using them the next time I have to replace a key.

Hmmm.

I ordered brown switches to replace my red switches and while they're marginally better in feel, it's barely noticeable when typing normally. However the worse part is by far the sound. They have a metal spring-like 'pling' sound where my red switches didn't. It's very audible, especially with the spacebar. I'm going to have to go back to the reds and send these back. It would be impossible to get used to them, let alone for such little benefit. Not impressed with outemu switches. Wish I had cherry instead.
