Cricut Explore Air 2, Cardstock, Mint, by The Yard

I love the machine, easy to use and very reliable

I already had a very old Cricut and used a Gypsy with it. I stopped using it for a couple of years due to ill health and when I was better I decided I wanted a new machine. I couldn’t find the pink one online in the UK but trusty Amazon Global came to the rescue and was delivered 3/4 days earlier than expected. Once I saw the blossom colour there was no turning back.I was considering buy the Maker but I thought I would be able to do everything I wanted on the Expression 2 and I was right. I can cut fabric with ease and not having the Maker hasn’t been a problem.Going from working on a Gypsy so the Design Space was amazing. My cuts are Better positioned and I have less waste. It is pricey to sign and for my needs I worked out that I would be better off buying individual fonts, shapes, phrases etc. and I also have old cartridges I can use.The machine was shipped from the US so obviously this came a US plug. The plug part is an adapter (9v) that can be replaced and I was able to find a white 9v (I didn’t want a black lead as all the Cricut leads are white) on here for £5.99. I think my old lead would probably fitted but my hubby has buried it in a box in the loft somewhere and was easier to buy a new one.I have used Amazon Global a few times and recommend it. It can be cheaper than buying the same products here in the UK and times you can get the product here. I wanted a cover for my Kitchen Aid mixer and found one on Amazon Global.All shipping and import fees were were included in my purchase and even with these added on I saved myself about £75 on UK prices and I managed to get a pink one like I wanted.

Very good quality, not that easy to use if you’ve never had one, lots of research on it first but it’s a brilliant and very clever machine!

So far I’m really enjoying my Cricut Explore Air 2!It’s so quick and has saved me a hell of a lot of time compared to cutting my designs out by handI’ve seen reviews where people say that the design space software is hard to use, but I honestly think it’s super easy!For me, the print and cut option isn’t perfect as I did have to calibrate my machine many times and even then it wasn’t perfect, but I noticed that it was dependant on what I was printing! Apparently bad lighting can affect it too, so who knows. Selecting the bleed option when printing helped massively though!Overall I’m very satisfied, hence the 5 stars.The delivery was very quick! It was due to arrive around the 1st of January, but it arrived on the 21st of December in time for Christmas!I should mention that if you’re ordering this from outside the US, it does come with a US plug and I believe there’s 2 types of US plugs? So be aware of that when buying an adapter because I bought 2 and it didn’t fit into either!

It is perfect!! Love my Cricut explore machine. And the colour is just everything!! I'm still learning to use it but getting the hang of it fast!

I love this circuit mechanic it took me a while to figure out how to do it and now I know it is so easy to use and I’m so happy with it and about the delivery it was very quick and it came in a tidy looking box
