A huge problem I have is getting off of my jet ski to answer natures call and have a frosty beverage... when I turn around, my jet ski is gone!!!! What happened? I don't know! apparently 10 frosty beverages or so gave it time to float away! Along came this product. A lifesaver! now when I get off my jet ski to answer natures call and have a frosty beverage when I turn around ITS STILL THERE!!! Genius! I highly recommend.

In my opinion this has done everything it advertised. I’ve moved it from my original kayak to my new Reel Yak kayak. Works great.

This is a quality product however, there are no directions for use, not even pictorial steps to follow. I took off a star for that reason alone. Some people know how to use this anchor but others don’t so the seller/manufacturer should ALWAYS assume that people are clueless and provide step by step directions for safe use. I only learned about the purpose of the zip tie from another reviewer and I am very thankful for his post! In case someone is reading this who, like me, isn’t aware of its purpose it will make complete sense once I explain. The anchor will rest flat on the bottom of the body of water and could get hung up on a rock or tree underneath making it impossible to get it unstuck except for the zip tie on the top of the anchor. Under the strain of trying to pull the anchor up should it get stuck, the zip tie will break allowing you to pull the anchor up from the bottom where the flukes/arms will fold closed and the anchor can be pulled up upside down. That is why it is attached to the chain with a carabiner on the bottom of the anchor and with a zip tie on the top. Genius! I live on a lake with a rocky bottom of flat rocks so this scenario is likely to happen at some point.I like that the anchor comes with everything you need including a pull string sack to store everything in. Additionally, there is a cleat to attach to a kayak (no directions other than pictures with the ad), extra zip ties of the proper weight to break when necessary, a rope holder to keep the rope from getting twisted or knotted, and the rope with a buoy at the end of the anchor that attaches to a kayak, large float, canoe, or jet ski. I am really pleased with the quality of this product but directions are really important!

The media could not be loaded. This is my fourth anchor set for my paddle board . Been through 3 others and this is the one!. We love to go out into the intercoastal and just sort of like stop and sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather and this anchor is so easy to deploy. It’s so well-made and follows all the suggestions on the other websites, including putting on the wire ties and etc. everything comes assembled already. I don’t have a tiny knots I didn’t have to thread the float and the float is a nice plastic float as opposed to a Styrofoam float. Also comes with a nice cleat attached right to the end of my paddle board so it makes it very easy to keep the anchor exactly where you want it to be . Don’t hesitate to buy this is amazing. You won’t buy anything else.

I got this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! He uses his kayak when we go to the lake and tries to fish in one spot but he always drifts away and my single anchor isn't enough to hold us both while I'm on my paddleboard. This one is great though because it is a lot more sturdy at the base since it has the chain then the rope and I really like that part about it. It's super easy to travel around with in it's little bag and does not take up much space at all. great purchase!
