Fan making loud noises after 2 months. Stopped using, waste of money.

The Oskar Little has just arrived today so I can't review on long term performance, but I will say I am very very happy so far! It is more compact than I thought from other photos, which for me is a positive. The air it humidifies is immediately very comfortable, rather than blowing gusts of cool air it circulates it really well in my bedroom (which I would say is a medium size bedroom). I have very sensitive sinuses and have had extremely recurrent sinus infections for the last three years. I can tell within seconds if I'm anywhere with air conditioning or fans because of the pain it causes, however the air the Oskar circulates is comfortable and feels fresh. It makes a low constant hum, quieter than a fan but not silent - it is quite peaceful and similar to the white noise option on my sound machine!!! Whilst the instructions said it would take 2-3 hours to humidify a dry room, mine was wonderfully humid within 20 minutes, so much so that I had to lower the setting! It's early days but I'm really happy with it.

Ich habe das Produkt gebraucht aus dem Amazon Warehouse erworben - so kann ich gar kein Urteil über den Preis fällen. Den Filter habe ich gleich gegen einen neuen getauscht.Im Prinzip geht es um einen Behälter für Wasser mit Reinigungsfunktion (zwei Filter - Achtung: Kein Luftreiniger!) und einen Ventilator, der die Raumluft von unten ansaugt und durch einen befeuchteten Filter mit Feuchtigkeit gesättigt, wieder im Raum verteilt. Dabei entsteht kein sichtbarer Feuchtigkeitsnebel.Der Luftbefeuchter ist hochwertig verarbeitet, sieht optisch gut aus, ist leicht zu bedienen und bietet eine gute Funktionalität. Da die Luft im Aufstellraum recht trocken war, habe ich das Gerät zunächst ein paar Stunden auf voller Stärke laufen lassen (gut hörbar) und tatsächlich hat sich die Luftfeuchtigkeit in kurzer Zeit in den angenehmen Bereich verändert. Danach reicht die einfache Stufe, um die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Raum zu erhalten.Natürlich sollte das Gerät regelmäßig gewartet und gereinigt werden. Auch die Filter müssen regelmäßig ersetzt werden. Das verursacht Mehraufwand und Folgekosten. Eine komplette Beurteilung kann erst nach längerem Gebrauch folgen.Bisher bin ich sehr zufrieden und vergebe insgesamt 5 Sterne.

I’ve never sent a product from Amazon back so far… Sadly, I have to say that I got the product with a brown-yellowish smelly filter which seemed to have been used before and which also had some bruises. So I didn’t even want to touch nor try it and sent it directly back. Hopefully the second one will be in a better shape…

Goede bevochtiger. Mooi design, goed afgewerkt en voelt degelijk aan. Makkelijk water toevoegen. Water blijft bacterie en schimmel nvrij door "water cube".In veel reviews wordt gesproken over dure filters. Deze heeft 1 filter die na 3 maanden vervangen dient te worden. De bevochtiger wordt waarschijnlijk alleen in de winter gebruikt dus 1 filter per jaar lijkt me wel meevallen qua prijs.

I purchased this humidifier to use in my sons bedroom in the winter. We live in an arid climate and we need that extra moisture in the air. I've had a Stadler Form diffuser for a few years and have been super happy with it's performance, so rather than purchase yet another cool mist humidifer (they always die after a few months), I decided to give this one a shot. I've been SO impressed with it! It's the perfect size for a small to medium sized bedroom and it's got some really neat features. First of all, the area that holds the water has no seams, so the water should never leak. It's got a little door that pops open for filling so you don't have to lift the whole cover off to fill it. It's got a lighted water level viewing area so you can easily see when it need to be filled. And last but not least, the lights can be dimmed completely so you don't have a bright light on when you're trying to sleep! Oh, and one more thing, it's not ugly. Huge bonus!
