THE Dancefloor Album!
To clarify, this exclusive, alternate cover edition of Ava Max's second album on CD is only available via Amazon. The only difference between this version and the regular CD is that the front and back covers are swapped. On the standard CD, the picture with Max's face is the regular front cover, and the (superior, I think) image of her standing on the diamond is on the back. That's the only difference. The album, however, is perfectly unique, whilst promising even *more* radio-friendly, punchy dance anthems than Max's debut album, Heaven & Hell. There's more than a bit of Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia and 1980s revival in here, and it's carried out with ease. 'Sleepwalker' is a beautiful synthwave track, 'Get Outta My Heart' is out-and-out pop for the dancefloor, and 'Hold Up (Wait A Minute)' should become a live staple. All the singles teased before D&D's release are stand-out tracks, too, but in all honesty there's only a couple of examples of 'filler' on here - which is impressive, given the 14-strong tracklist. There's less ballads present than on Heaven & Hell, but once more, Max flits between playing the diamond-encrusted ice queen and broken, emotional wreck with every anthem. There's depth to this album, but most of all, it's fun, catchy and sassy. The inner booklet features images of Max, as well as lyrics for every song. It looks neat, the album sounds delectable, and once more proves what a modern-day Madonna this woman can be.

Diamonds & Dancefloors
Ava Max is really bringing back dance-pop! A lot of music nowadays is very trap influenced which I don’t really like so I’m glad Ava brought out this record which is so fun but emotional to listen to. Ever since she posted snippets of each song on TikTok, it got me really hyped up for the release! She sounds more confident and self-assured compared to her debut; her vocals, the lyrics and the beats are on point - super catchy and well-produced. Also this alternate album cover is so much better than the original, I hope she puts out the blue diamond cover too cause that’s really pretty. One of the best albums I’ve listened to in recent years. Ava Max is so underrated, I’m sure if she released this album in the 2010s it would’ve been a huge hit. My ultimate favourite tracks are: Get Out of My Heart, Dancing’s Done, Weapons, Cold As Ice, Ghost and Last Night On Earth.

³⁴³ Shiny and fun
Short and sweet, D&D is Ava Max's glittering return, following her sparkling H&H debut from 2020. Filled with the glossy Europop that sounds like it's coming from the '90s, Diamonds & Dancefloors delivers exactly what is expected from Max, who now stands more confident than on her first album where Lady Gaga's spirit was omnipresent. All 14 songs are about heartbreak and love, and all are uptempo ones, lacking some variety in thematology and rhythm which would benefit the album greatly. A fun record with many hits to offer, D&D will establish Ava as pop's leading star despite not being a household name yet.The CD comes in 3 editions, all of which have the same 2 covers swapped back and front, one comes with a poster. 4 vinyl variations as well, in ruby red, violet, silver, and black ice colours. A 16-page booklet comes in the CD editions.

Perfect Pop Album ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Diamonds & Dancefloors is a perfect follow up album for Ava Max and filled with upbeat, dance heavy tracks which just get better with every listen. I work in a retail store where this album has been played over 5 times in two days and I genuinely get excited every time it’s played because it’s such an energetic and feel good project. Ava Max knows pop inside and out and knows how to do it right. Give the album a listen!
