The best homemade SUGAR FREE chai I’ve found yet. I’ve tried just about everything and most of the sugar free options out there had sugar alternatives that made me sick or just tasted horrible. I love that this is decaf and that I can control the sweetener myself. Tastes very authentic. The only thing is that the instructions mentioned to use 3 tsps but 1 tsp was super concentrated. 3 tsps would def be too much.

Delicious Chai tea with balanced spices giving it a nice, strong flavor!

Is this chai pricey? Yes. Is it delicious? Yes. Would I buy it again? I don’t know if it’s worth it but it is yummy! My biggest concern is that even though it says decaf, I still felt jittery after and couldn’t sleep at night when I drank too much.

I’m a chai fanatic and if I’m saying this chai is good, trust me it is! I enjoy chai at nights but the caffeine disturbs my sleep. This is the best thing ever invented. This chai even tastes amazing. My sleep wasn’t disturbed at all after drinking this past 8pm.

I couldn’t get past the first sip. For me, it tastes like licking a tree. The aftertaste was awful and I put honey in my tea. I don’t taste the spices that are supposed to be prominent.

I love this chai! It’s easy to prepare and tastes so good. I unfortunately am quite sensitive to caffeine and the regular formulation makes me feel unwell. I was so happy a decaf version exists. I can’t really taste a difference from the original.

So I usually make chai with kenyan loose leaf tea. I have my spices and such. I do agree the spices make for a superior tea and single source is the best. However, kenyan doesn't come in decaf. So after much thought (read agonizing about the indecent price, and unknown quality) decided to try this, the price is just too high though. After I recieved it, I was in shock, it was a tiny package, these people are trolling us. Another issue I had is the cardamom pods are broken up so there's a lot of husks further bulking the tea up with, basically garbage.I put it in a medium spice jar with a sealed top. A small mason jar would be ok too. Their packaging is not user friendly. It's a flat ziplock pack. It's easier to portion off spoonfuls out of a jar or tin.When I made it, it was pretty good. It wasn't superior to my other tea, but I did enjoy my morning cuppa after a night shift. Sadly I won't be purchasing this one again. My hunt for a quality decaf tea resumes.If you are a daily, experienced chai consumer, this won't do it for you. It's probably ok for a chai tourist though.

This is absolutely the best chai tea I have had in years! Truly authentic! This chai reminds of the first time I had authentic chai that was made for me by an Indian friend’s mother. I love that they have a decaf option for those sensitive to caffeine and that it is not loaded with sugar. I control the amount of sweetness if any. With that said, even their caffeinated chai does not make me jittery. It gives me the alertness I need on some mornings but not the jittery feeling other chai teas have done. And the taste is off the charts!!! WELL DONE YOU, KOLKATA CHAI CO!!!!
