My kids love this egg timer, especially the design. They call it the “Clock Monster”!It works as well as any other egg timer - you just have to remember to FULLY wind it, and then wind it back down to the minutes you want, otherwise the bell won’t be loud enough. It’s accurate and it does it’s job. Definitely recommended for young kids over a plain timer!

You can't really narrow it down to exactly 2 minutes (for brushing teeth) so I'll have to find something else. And you can barely hear it when the buzzer goes off. It is awfully cute though!

Its very cute, and the timer seems to work well. However, when the time is up it doesn't ring, it just stops ticking. item also arrived with some slight cosmetic damage.

I would like it to be louder and the ring to last a bit longer. It is a quiet and short little ring that can be missed if you aren't right next to it. I do like the little monster look. It looks just like the picture, but again I wanted function with the cuteness.

I was excited to use in my attempt to try the pomodoro technique. Just to avoid using my phone at all for it. Hella cute but only went off once and never heard it ding again. Taking it as a loss.

I purchased this timer to help me with productivity and keeping myself from falling down too many rabbit holes while working from home. Its appearance makes me smile every time. But, if I am wearing noise cancelling headphones and not sitting directly in front of the timer, then I might not hear it go off. Other than that, I love it and sometimes tote it around my flat using it for cooking as well as keeping my on task with my productivity cycles. :) I have also used it in some of my online classes, which the students loved the appearance of the timer & seeing it twist in the background while they worked.

Bought it for my ADHD daughter and it was discounted. As long as you don't misuse it (the instructions are clear and simple), it won't break. If you force it backwards down past zero you'll break any wind-up timer.My daughter loves it - easy to turn, accurate, alarm is loud enough without being painful.

Ticks and then absolutely nothing. Don't waste your money.
