Accu Chek Fastclix Finger Pricked Lancing Device + 6 Lancets

This is the only finger pricker that does it for me and I’ve tried lots. Easy to use and lances are easy to fit. One point to note is that it doesn’t have the guide rails to allow it to be fitted and secured to the Accu Chek mobile cassette meter

I like this, I'm at the stage where I'm really bored pricking my fingers, loading up the pen and disposing of the lancets etc.This streamlines the process and if your finger doesn't bleed just click it again using the same needle, when you're finished move the little lever and the next needle is ready to be used, it also has a little window that counts down from 6 so you know how many needles are left in the cassette, the cassette is a sealed unit so I just put it in my bin, no need for a sharps bin.Sometimes you can barely feel it but sometimes you get a, oh ya bugger!If it broke I'd buy another one.

I strongly recommend this lancet, I was using the Accucheck Softclix for two years and switching to the Fastclix has been a real improvement for me. The drum design means you’re not fiddling around changing lancets again and again, and can just quickly and easily take your readings. But for me, the big selling point is that the sensation of the blood draw is even milder than it is with the Softclix!I read in the description that the needle is slightly thinner here, and that results in a gentler prick. I’m going to assume that the actual experience will vary from person to person, but that was the case for me. In my experience with both lancets, a gentle massage of my fingers to warm them up, and then the lancet at the 2 setting, is what works best for me. In that scenario, the Fastclix has saved me time, and some pain, so I’m really glad I made the switch.

Have not worked out how to move to next prick

My 1st one broke after a many years. Much easier to use than the single use ones. easy to load. no accidents while disposing of cartridge. excellent product bought a second for use while away from home.
