GlobalCeramic Water Sharpener GS-440SS

For years I have tried to keep my knives sharp using a stone with limited success. So after seeing an article in a newspaper I discovered the Global Water Sharpener. It came number one out of ten reviewed. Not cheap but what a tool. Sharpened my knives to razor sharpness so I opened the drawer and got out some old blunt knives. After following the procedure a few times they are now sharp again. Simple to use just drawing the knife back and forth, and as the sharpening stones are angled you are always sharpening correctly. Dont hesitate to buy this if you want quality.

Had my Global Knives for years and had been using the Global ceramic steel to keep them sharp. Unfortunately, the steel has recently broken and I have been looking for a replacement. This Global Ceramic Water Sharpener is fantastic and in my opinion does a better job than the ceramic steel and at a much cheaper price than buying a new steel. Very happy with it and would recommend.

I don’t have expensive professional knives but they are decent and results from the sharpening are goodI thought it was expensive thoughOh word of warning. This does seem to scratch the sides of the knives

I've tried a variety of tools over the years to keep my knives sharp, and this has to be the best. Immediately prior to this I was using a whetstone to sharpen my Global knives which required skill and patience - when I had those the knives came out with a super sharp edge (and scuffs along the blade), but when I didn't, I'd end up with a blunt blade. This sharpener requires neither skill nor patience - it's simply a case of putting a bit of water in the tray and then using the two slots to run the knife against the sharpening stone - simple and effective. Also, because it's less faff than a whetstone, the knives are sharpened more frequently, and retain their edge.

At last, a sharpener that does the job. I can now keep my Global knives as sharp as new, and so easy. So glad I found this item

Good knife sharpener Have Global knives. So wanted the correct knife sharpener

This has to be one of the best kitchen gadgets ever created. Previously I used to sharpen my 6 Global knives using a whetstone which was always a bit of a chore and consequently not done regularly enough.This gadget is simple, safe, quick (1 minute per knife) and very effective in use. As a result my Global knives are always beautifully sharp and ready for use.

I have global knife, however this doesn’t work for me. Maybe my knifes are too old? Had a similar shsrpener from my local pound shop, it worked better for a fraction of the price.
