Easy to assemble & screw together & easy to slide on the little garden flags to display. Very pleased with these little metal garden flag poles.

The stand works very well, except in windy conditions. The problem I've had with these is that the flag clip to keep the flag from flying off the post doesn't work well. Even in mild weather, it won't stay attached to the flag. The stoppers on the hanging area don't always do their job either. We had a flag fly off of it's post and fly away. I'd put it back on the post and attached the clip multiple times when it had gone partially off, but one day, the flag was gone completely.The stainless steel clips work much better.

I bought one flag holder and loved it so much that I came back to order two more now. I love the little clip and the two stoppers that are included- the local hardware stores sell just the holder not the little accessories which are helpful for windy days.

I have several "garden" flags around the yard - GO DAWGS / GO BRAVES. These are by far the flimsiest. Do they work.... sure. The material is too light weight. I'm sure logistics took precedence over functionality for $$ reasons. If you live where the soil is dense and there is no wind - this is good product for you.Prongs = too shallow - falls over in light soil (Florida).threaded connecters = strip easily, allowing the rods to spin and the flags off-centermaterial = small gauge rod that is to light to hold a flag in wind.

The stakes go into the ground easily, the two-piece construction makes it easier to store - and lets you adjust the direction of the top. They included accessories to help hold the flag where you want it - spring clips to hold a narrow flag in the center (or whichever end you want) of the rod, and a snap clip to hold the flag straight - which keeps the wind from wrapping it around.I didn't take off a star for it, but the loop on the snap clip is too small to fit over the connector between the upright sections. If you have a long flag where you want the clip on the lower section, you'll need to separate the sections to slip on the clip. Similarly, the spring clips will fit on the crossbar, but it's a tight fit getting them around the curve - a slightly larger version would be easier to get on.
