My husband is a farmer & his phone is used all the time in extremely dusty, dirty conditions at times. Its cheap & effective. This clip sticks to the back of his phone for at least a year at a time. It doesn't just fall off one day, it's a gradual thing & he pulls it off cleans the sticky residue & sticks another one on. He is really hard on his phones and this works really well.

Like my title says, the product is nice, the 3M tape holds great, but the clip retention is just not there. I put this clip on a Victorinox Outrider and it seemed nice. However, once you start moving around and doing this with it clipped into your pocket, you quickly realize that the clip is pretty flimsy and does not have any hold on the actually pocket, it kind of just sits there. If you were going to clip this on something thicker than your pocket, like a backpack strap, or something of that thickness, it would be better suited for that.

Adhesive works well, clip provides no resistance or retention. Only gravity holds the item in place. I had to order other clips with better retention.

I bought this for a knife. An openel to be precise. I flattened the handle on both sides and attached this clip. The adhesive it came with would work great for hanging a poster on your wall so I used liquid nails. It's working great.
