Good balance of performance, price and power consumption

Really good balance for me of performance, power usage and price. Perfect for super smooth 1080p gaming. No problem keeping it cool with a big air cooler while still keeping the system quiet.

Great midrange CPU

The Ryzen 5 7600 delivers excellent speed and efficiency, making it a great fit for my use case. It handles tasks smoothly, whether for work or entertainment, and runs cool and quiet. The built-in graphics are useful as a backup, though a dedicated GPU is better for serious gaming. The included cooler is fine for everyday use but may need upgrading for heavier workloads. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable processor that offers great value.

Unmatched Performance for Gamers and Creators!

I recently upgraded my PC with the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Processor, and I’m completely blown away by its performance! This processor is an absolute beast, combining cutting-edge 3D V-Cache technology with 8 cores and 16 threads to deliver unmatched speed and efficiency for gaming, content creation, and multitasking. The 3D V-Cache technology is a game-changer, providing a massive 104MB of cache that significantly boosts performance in CPU-intensive tasks. Whether I’m gaming at ultra settings, streaming, or editing 4K videos, this processor handles everything with ease. The up to 5.0 GHz max boost clock ensures buttery-smooth performance, even in the most demanding applications. One of the standout features is the integrated Radeon Graphics, which eliminates the need for a dedicated GPU for light gaming or everyday tasks. It’s perfect for budget-conscious builders or those waiting to upgrade their graphics card. The 120W TDP strikes a great balance between power and efficiency, and the AM5 socket ensures future-proof compatibility with the latest motherboards and technologies. Just keep in mind that this processor doesn’t come with a cooler, so you’ll need to pair it with a high-quality aftermarket cooler for optimal performance.Gaming performance is where this processor truly shines. The 3D V-Cache technology gives it a noticeable edge in frame rates and responsiveness, making it one of the best CPUs for gamers on the market. It’s also a fantastic choice for creators, as it handles rendering, encoding, and multitasking like a pro.Overall, the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Processor is a top-tier choice for anyone looking to build a high-performance PC. Whether you’re a gamer, streamer, or content creator, this processor delivers exceptional value and performance. Highly recommended!

Quiet, easy instal and insanely capable

My GPU came a day late and this bad boy ran Skyrim at almost 60Fps integrated graphics, I mean what? How is that possible? It runs all of my games perfectly, I have two or three tabs open, a stream, a game (Rainbow Six Siege) and also Discord, Steam, Epic games, Steelseries, AMD clipping software and so on, the CPU just tanks it like it's nothing. For the price I was shocked, I spent $600 on the GPU but $200 on the CPU and so far the CPU has been LESS challenged, AMD are the Goats now Intel are moving to AI > Gaming.

Very good cup for gaming

Easily hands down a very good CPU when it comes to gaming I have paired this with CL30 RAM with 6000mhz which is very fast and good for the CPU and I have also got a golden CPU this isn’t grantee but I have got my curve optimiser and set the cores to negative cores and I have mine set to -30 not all CPUS can run this but I am so happy that I can

Great - but hot

Haven't had it long but it's doing great so far, really happy with the performance for the price (under £200)The only draw back has been the temperature. I was using a stock AMD cooler from my pre built rig 2 years ago which was sufficient for the ryzen 5 5500 I had at the time, however it simply could not cool this new processor (Potentially faulty). The idle temperature would sit at 60 C and upon launching a medium intensity game it would instant spike to 95 degrees C (the limit before it will throttle). Now with my new cooler (be quiet! dark rock 5) I am seeing idle temps of 35 C - a huge improvement.Invest in good cooling for this, maybe consider under-volting too4/5

Cheap and efficient

I bought a Ryzen 7600 for use in a new-build media centre PC that would mostly be used for emulation. It is stable, runs very cool and does not consume much power and is mounted into a fairly budget MSI MAG B650M Gaming Plus WIFI motherboard with 32 gb of Lexar Ares 6400mhz DDR5 RAM. I'm only using the in-built graphics capability - and a cheap air cooler, but it performs superbly with everything I've thrown at it so far.I highly recommend this CPU for anyone who wants to get onto the new AM5 platform without breaking the bank. It's a great CPU for this purpose, especially now that B650 motherboards have come down in price a lot. My plan in a few years will be to upgrade the cpu and keep the motherboard, which should be do-able since AM5 will apparently be around for a while yet.Preferred this one over the 7600X as if you need the 'X'tra power you can just turn on precision boost overdrive in the bios which will raise the power limit and give it 7600X like performance while saving a bit of money over the X version.

Does what it's meant too.

I can have Ableton open with multiple VSTs, folders and playing in a game with 0 issues at all. No lag on games, no skips in Ableton, nothing at all.The reason I upgraded in the first place was Ableton skipping adding weird artifacts into the music when I had a few VSTs loaded. Fits very easily with the new AM5 boards, and has a good power draw for what it processes at the same time. It's an AM5 socket so make sure you have the correct motherboard if you are upgrading from an older chipset.
