Each potion recipe in this book is a practice in sardonic humor, inaccessible to children. It is not written for families wanting to enjoy the Harry Potter Universe together.It might be great for an angsty teen who is really into HP?"Ingredients: Bouncing bulb, vinegar, and the hair of an angry suburban housewife who wants to speak to the manager.""Ingredients: Shrivelfig and loud music that people over 30 just don't understand. I thought the Potions are silly as the author intended but I thought the ingredients would sound weird and at times gross more like the potions in the books.

Daughter loved it.

The author of this book must have thought himself a jokester like George Weasley. Unfortunately he failed miserably. I read 6 pages and put the book through the shredder.

this is not for children. It is so stupid and poorly done, and not like anything you would expect. No child would like this. It has references to drinking and adult content and lame attempts at humor. big waste of money
