Excellent affordable cordless saw
Recently, there are many different brands offering very simillar battery powered hand saw like this one which make choosing the right one not easy. After days of searching and reading the reviews, I decided to buy this.Since I had cleanned up my yard early before this saw come, so I dont have a chance to do some real work with it, but I did several tries to cut some branches and these are what I can say: First, the saw came in a nice strong case, with all the extra listed. Second, the saw looks and feels well built with quality materials. Third, its very compact and light weight, I can easily hold the saw in one hand and hold thing need to be cut in another hand. Fourth, the tension notch is simple to use. When I try to cut some branches, it went through a 2 inches wide one without issue . Since I dont have chance to use it for long time, so I dont know how long a fully charge battery will last,, but the are 2 batteries come with the saw, so it should not a problem if one ran out of juice in the middle of the work. So, for the price range like this, I believe this is a good choice, special for female users, since it not heavy to hold, and the safety features are very good.

Awesome Little Chainsaw
This little handheld chainsaw is Awesome! It is very lightweight and very easy to use. It comes with two portable batteries, two extra replacement chains, some gloves, and safety glasses. The portable batteries have a button to press to check for how much charge they have left. The chainsaw comes with a little case to hold chainsaw, gloves, batteries, glasses, and the charger. The chainsaw has a a lot of power and very easy to cut thru branches or limbs that need to be cut off. If you see a low limb on your driveway or yard, you can easily grab the chainsaw out and get it cut down. It is so light and easy to take action when you need to cut something down real quick.I highly recommend this handheld chainsaw to add to your collection of tools for garage or shed.

Nice saw - Battery life could be better
Overall this is a nice little saw. Batter life could be better. I fully charged the 2 batteries that came with the saw prior to using the saw for the first time. Sawing 1 to 4 inch diameter branches and 4 fence posts tops, each averaged around 15 minutes of noncontinuous operation. With a fresh battery the saw cuts easily, however as the battery drains you need to be careful to only apply light pressure to the saw or it will stall. Also, keep an eye on your chain tension and make sure you clean out the discharge opening at the bottom end of the chain. Small pieces of debris can get caught here and cause the saw to run slower of stall. Since most users will have their own leather gloves and eye protection, the included cloth gloves and plastic eye glasses are not needed, and should have been replaced with a chain sleeve/cover and a small chain oil bottle. As a side note: it appears this saw is being manufactured and sold under different names. For example, what appears to be the same saw in a different color and with better accessories and the same hard case is being sold for $49.99 on Amazon under the Kiato name! This could be a much better value.

Update after bad battery and charger.
Update:I initially tried the email on the back of the battery but didn't get a response. Perhaps it got lost. After my review the seller contacted me through amazon with a very apologetic message and wanted to know what to do to make it right. They offered to send me a new battery and charger. The saw works great and I would recommend it, also nice that they have good customer service. I'll update again when I receive the new battery and charger.Original review:Loved the saw until one battery went out and now the charger won't charge the good battery. Emailed the seller a week ago with no response. Now can't use the saw at all. I'll update if they make it right.

Truly ambidextrous and has good power. No grease hole in bar tip.
First, it is truly ambidextrous as there is a safety button on both sides. The location is a bit uncomfortable for amy large hand but nice for a smaller hand. The one big negative is the bar lacks a grease hole for lubricating the sprocket and tip and helping the entire bar. We spray oil on the bar frequently but that grease in the bar is important. There are comments posted about how long the charge lasts. We found that almost totally dependant on the tension (friction) on the chain and lubricating it. Adjust tension carefully to be loose but safe per instructions.Tip: If the battery is cold, let the saw run slow 30 seconds or so depending on how cold and the battery will warm and work normally.

Good saw bad batteries
Good saw but the batteries have stopped charging after only a few uses. I'll let them charge overnight, but then get a few cuts out of them at most before they run out of juice. Disappointing, as the saw is very capable.

It works and is a solid performer
I have a tree farm so in the last few years I have become a bit of a connoisseur of saws, axes and chainsaws. This one is great for a lightweight branching trimmer. Starts up, batteries are good for a while (100+ cuts of 1.5 inches and above in red & white oak) and it charges quickly. I did wind up replacing the chain but that was from lots of use. When cutting the tips of branches if you get lots of chatter or vibration hold the distal end of the branch and it will go right through the wood. Osage Orange and Hickory are a much more difficult challenge for it (very hard woods) but it positively RIPS through pine and cedar trees.

After a year, does pros really matter at this point...
Straight to the point after a year of having it.Pros:Goody it comes with AND ManeuverabilityCons:Battery Charge doesn't hold long after couple of month. Bar Display: 3. 5 second uses = DeadChain is loose, most of the time between starting and stop. For being lightweight, feels cheap.
