Marineland PRIM360 Aquarium Impeller Assembly Replacement for C-360 Canister Filter

I have a Marineland Magniflow 360 gph Canister Filter (the one with a red pump button) this one is way different from the original one. The original one is black top… a bit longer slides on the wheel part. And the magnet is slightly thicker. Like bulky. The white plastic stick that goes through it is one piece… this isn’t. It has several pieces. However, without placing that bottom black rubber cap thing … this one works extremely well. Goes right in and does it’s job. At first I took the old white plastic stick and placed it in the new one because some how the first try… the black rotating piece would not fit and snap in place. Thinking that was the problem … it wasn’t. It was just me not doing it right hahaha. So I took the other piece and placed it in the middle, and the top plastic stick on the top and tried again. It worked. Put the black rotating thing that snaps in over it… twisted and snapped… waaalaaa it worked. Not a noise out of this machine since and water is rotating very strongly.So my machine was making lots of noise. Had it for two years. Figured something was built up and I just wasn’t deep cleaning it right. Then one day it just stopped. I cleaned the best I could… bushes and all. Cleaned hoses and all. Did it all. Sat on the floor pumping this thing. Then my son would pump it. That red button on the top can really hurt ya know lol. My daughter even tried. This is also after a deep tank clean so I was just …. So dang tired at that point. Turns out all I needed was this impeller. I guess cleaning the old one I messed it up some how. When you routine clean this stuff… you just aren’t gentle. I always roughly used pliers to pull it out on cleaning days. Lesson learned. We have to be gentle to them hehehe who knew! One guy on here said we are suppose to change them out every three months. Well now pffft my old one lasted two years. But I will take some of his advice and buy two more of these just in case hahaI would also like to say this came in the mail very quickly and so thankful it did. Very thankful. 100 gallon fish tank with a lot of fish. Each fish is happy that they have clean water hehehe

I had to remove the top rubber stop to make it fit my filter. Works better than the original.

Bought to replace the oem impeller inside my marineland c360. Original cracked and was causing filter to not pump water properly. This arrived quickly and fit right in as if it was the original. Blades seem thicker for durability. We shall see how long this one lasts.
