Solves my Quest 3 Power Needs
Well, i just ordered another one, because this item has become an essential part of my VRchat experience. I spend long hours in VR, to the point where it is my second life and i need my quest 3 headset to run for long periods while pc linked. The kuject cable came recommended by friends and now my entire social circle in vr uses one - they are a real game changer. So, what does it do - it will keep the battery level of a Quest 3 headset at the same number...permanently. It wont charge beyond that though, so if you start at 93 percent, thats where you end...and if you start at nothing, it wont be any use to you until you put some initial charge in there. It also functions as a link cable for PCVR and that seems to have a solid level of data transfer, i see no issues, in social VR as least and that can be quite demanding.Downsides - every time you use this, it has to be set up in a staged process. First the charger goes into the cable switch box. Then you connect the headset, then, once it shows it is charging you turn that on and finally you link it to the pc. Do this out of order and it doesnt work till you do. If your headset crashes badly and needs to be restarted....you have to disconnect it all and go through the process again in the correct order. In addition the cable carries a lot of power, enough that if it is curled up it seems able to stop its own signal - so you need to keep it straight and tidy. So, its fussy and delicate, enough that i have ordered a second one just in case as a fallback. Its also an amazing piece of kit that keeps my Quest 3 fed and happy forever - I recommend it highly.

Endless quest 2 gameplay
This cable is great, and I've used it for a good week now with my headset being on for 24+ hours just to test it out. The product is great and deserves 5 stars, however, it would have been cool if they used USB-C for all the ports.I saw some posts on reddit and reviews saying it disconnects and HAD that issue but managed to fix it for myself:Just follow the instructions on the packaging to set up the device and make sure you're using a 3.0+ USB port. If you use a 2.0, you will probably have issues. Also in device manager, I recommend finding the device then going to "properties > power management" and turn off 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'.I had to use external software to find out what USB it was and "USB Device Tree Viewer" works. The USB should say something about meta or oculus assuming you're using a quest 2 like I am.

Charger doesn't work
Was very disappointed when I tested this product and the charger didn't work. I followed the steps exactly the first time I set it up. Linked up the quest 2 to the PC just fine, but then 2 hours later i got a notification that my battery was low. Turned out it hadn't been charging. I tried unplugging it and putting back in the headset, but every time it would only charge for about 5 seconds before stopping. I then looked on reddit and found that this exact issue is common with this cable, and saw someone had taken it apart and a wire wasn't attached. So I ended up also taking it apart and noticed that a yellow wire at the top of this image was not connected to the board. It seems like a chance if you get a working cable or not. I don't suggest this cable and would highly suggest looking elsewhere.I would have returned the cable but I am in no state to go to the post office to return it myself. Complete waste of money

Worked well when I had a quest 2
Had to replace it when I got a quest 3. Haven't used it in a while but I presume it would work well now since they have updated the internals for Quest 3.

Decent Cable and performs well
i purchased this as i was getting the quest 3 which i now have.when i first touched it I wasn't sure about the material but there hasn't been an issues just felt a little soft I expected more of a tough feeling like a braided cable kind of style being quite thick, however it does the job well and also does keep my quest 3 charged at all times unless i open too many apps in PCVR. Make sure you cycle power on and off. Usb port stopped working
After purchasing a black one and it worked fine for 2 days, suddenly it started getting connectivity issues and not registering being plugged into the headset.I registered a return and purchased a second white one thinking maybe the cable could be faulty. After receiving the white one I realised that it was also not working, so I chose a different USB port and suddenly both cables were working in a new USB port.I can only assume that the power adapter is forcing too much current into the USB port and damaging the port.I think it's due to a couple of things. So far I've been using this new USB port with both cables and also now only when the PC is actually switched on and booted into windows. If the PC is not booted up but still switched on at the wall, it will seem to charge fine but don't trust it! Once the battery fills the excess power goes to the pc.Number 1) Only power on the quest 3 genuine charger cable when the PC is actually running.Number 2) Only charge it as long as it takes to get it above 80% then turn off the wall plug charging cable until the batter runs down to about 25% again. Cycle on and on like this.Maybe future versions of the cable can power cycle the wall cable more intelligently based on current draw.So far so good. It's a shame I had to buy 2 cables and wreck a USB port to find this out!

Probably best cable if you find it on offer
I’ve bought this on offer for £20. It’s probably the best you can get at this price range. It does disconnects from time to time and I don’t think it will survive a long time but for my purposes using it more rarely it’s a great purchase.

Broke after a few weeks
The usb-c connector that plugs into the headset detached and slipped out of the plastic. Could see the electrical component inside and there was no way I could fix it myself. For the price, I didn't expect it to break after only a few weeks. It did charge the headset while it was being used but this cable requires a specific sequence for connecting the headset to the charger then to the PC in order for it to work so that's a bit of work; not really plug-and-play.
