Great DIY ( do it yourself), product and price is great. BUT one important point: On the One hand, mine did not come with a useful owners manual. On the other hand, you can dial 1 number and immediately reach tech support. Granted, they are Chinese and just a little difficult to understand, but I would almost rather speak to a person than muddle through a manual.They have 2 people that do tech support- Peter and Wendy, and they answer the phone. They are completely familiar with the product and will tell you how to do anything you want.As for the quality of the cams, I think they are quite good for the price.Also, you can connect ANY cam that uses these types of wires.ALSO, I highly suggest you purchase longer wires that have audio inputs/outputs. This system is definitely capable of recording audio. This was a KEY feature for me. But it wasn’t until I was far into the installation that I figured this out. Purchase separate (longer) cables with audio ($25.00 each) and separate microphones at about $7.00 each and connect the mic at the same end as the cam.One other note: I connected several very small, inexpensive pinhole cams that are so small that no one would know they were there, even if they were looking for them!Feel free to email me with questions.

So far this is a Great system I replaced a 5 year old qsee system. This system hooked up easy remote view on my android and iPads work Great. The cameras seem built well aluminum housing not plastic. They adjust very easy by loosing up two screws. The power supply is also built very nice. Only wish the power cables that come out of the power supply were longer (you have to hook up the power cables in the power supply but this is very easy color coded). So far so good will keep you up to date. This system also works just fine with my old cameras. I purchased the 16 channel that came with just 12 cameras filled the other channels with my older cameras the work Great. The new cameras have a nice wide view much wider than my old cameras. I did a lot of research on security systems and the company's that make and provide the this company had a Grade A with the better business bureau. A few of the other company's I was looking at had a F rating. Be careful when looking for a security system I found a few that had Great customer reviews and a bad BBB rating. Just be careful Please.

I bought this system in February. I did a quick test and all the cameras functioned perfectly. The cameras provide incredibly clear pictures and I couldn't be happier. The system offers 16 different picture layouts and instant playback for each of the 16 cameras. This is essential when monitoring a retail operation. The best advice I can offer is not to use your old system's cables or power supply. I thought I would save some time only exchanging the cameras. Big mistake. The pictures would blur from time to time and some of the cameras would only display in black and white with the old cables and then the old power supply box stopped working. I did call CIB and they were more than helpful even offering to send a replacement NVR until I realized that I created the issue myself by not using the equipment they had sent. Take your time and set it up properly. You won't be disappointed!

Can’t unlock my system and customer service doesn’t answer or return my call.

A small learning curve but over all very easy to install. It took me a while to learn the DVR but it is very nice. I'm still learning everything it does. The free app is not bad at all. Seems to be easy enough to use. Need to have a strong internet connection to use it properly. The cameras are very clear. Night vision works very well but it is grainy(but so is all night vision). I very happy with my purchase. I can see why most every review is 5 stars. I didn't have to call support, so I can't comment on how well they are.

This surveillance system is far superior to my previous system. The software and apps are far more intuitive and provide for easy access for monitoring and replay. The only con I can think of is one of my cameras keeps dropping the color but it may be due to the fact that I'm using an old cable. Yet all of my other cameras work well with the old cables. I will swap the camera to see if that corrects the problem.I consider the system well worth the money invested.

Overall I think it’s an excellent product still learning how to use it all the features.

This has been the easiest system to install and operate. When there is an issue tech support is top notch! Peter was amazing at solving any issues. I recommend this to anyone! A+++
