The prices on these dimmer switches have increased a lot after the pandemic inflation. Among those on the market, this one was the most competitively priced for its specs. The switch size is such that it can fit through the hole of a face plate of a non-dimmer switch. Furthermore, it works great. I've had dimmer switches in the past that had mechanical spring issues that would cause the switch to electrically not turn off despite the switch being in the off position (this switch thankfully does not have such problems).The one shortcoming is how large the back side mechanism is (the black box body behind the switch). It is wider compared to most other switches I've worked with. It was too fat and almost did not fit next to another switch in a 3-switch receptacle.

Very simple to install. Only flaw, which is common in all brands is shouldn't use the push-in wire hookup. Just use the screws and it works great.

As an electrician with a decade of experience, I've installed countless switches and dimmers. This Dimmer Switch is not bad, but it's not great either, hence the 3 stars. It's compatible with a range of bulbs - LED, CFL, and incandescent, which is a big plus. The preset function is a nice touch, and the inclusion of a wall plate adds value.However, there are a couple of things that could be better. The switch feels a bit flimsy, and I've noticed that the dimming range isn't as wide as I'd like. It doesn't always offer the smoothest dimming experience either, especially at lower light levels. For professional installations, I'd probably look for something a bit more robust, but for a DIY home project, it's an okay choice.

I was able to get this installed into my existing cover plate which has two switches and two outlets. Install went pretty smoothly and the dimmer works. However, there is a slight delay when you flip the switch. That could be the result of my non-professional wiring, but I don’t think so. It’s also a bit cheap and dinky feeling, but it works.

Best part is being able to set a minimum brightness as a night light.Replaced bathroom switch, because who needs to be blinded at full brightness, or blind from not enough?

I bought this switch to control a bank of three LED closest fixtures I have strung together in my office. The item seems very well made. I was impressed with the pack-in materials such as legible English instructions, wire labels and also a faceplate. Was a snap to install. My lights did not require setting the adjustment for minimum dimmer brightness. Although it is thoughtful it was included. I highly recommend and would purchase again.

Have loved these so far until yesterday. Have used over 20 of them with great results. Also more than 20 of the paddle dimmers. First Failure out of box yesterday. Toggle dimmer bad from the start. Just dead. Will see how the last 8 from the box do.

For some reason, even when the switch is switched off our dimmable LED lights stay slightly on. It's very dim but absolutely not fully off...Not a big enough deal to return
