Good reliable feeder.
Have bought three of these during the last few years, not because of any failures, but because they all have worked well, are dependable for long vacations when your pet needs to be fed, and have some pretty good adjustability of portion size and delivery times.

Feeder good, with pros and cons
I wanted to give this feeder a few extra days testing before I posted my review for my 2 cats.Goods:* No issues connecting....my router is 10 feet away, Wifi through the appworked well...I used the non-lite app version as was instructed.* While it seems to dispense well, the ration for the dual trays are hitand miss...this isn't really a problem as am putting in a minimumamount through several daily feedings as I believe in mostly wet foodfeeding...I purchased it mainly for days I am out longer in between the cannedfeedings.* The cam videos...some are good....but there are cons...* The feeder holds 5L of food, which is plenty depending on your pets feedinghabits. I have not had any real issues (yet) as to how it dispenses, no jams(kibble is small/round).* I set up calling my kids with my voice during scheduled feedings, and it works.* Feeding schedule is easy to do.* Getting around the app and making changes and viewing videos is good.* Looks nice and modern, blends with decor.* Stainless steel bowls...(Con)..but getting them out to clean is a struggle as they are recessed to keep kibble from falling through gaps..A hole under the base under each bowl to pop it out makes sense. I used a regular square napkin below the bowl with a corner sticking out to remove easily.* The lock button works well, as my one cats tried to trigger the unit to feed. Just remember to long press the unlock key to use it. It will automatically lock again on its own.* They haven't knocked it over yet..the dual trays help keep it stable. (Plus the weight of the food.)Cons:*Having issues with playback, sometimes it works, sometimes not, I purchaseda128gb card to accommodate my recordings, as I will not pay subscription prices...for 150 bucks...well...you decide...same for the silica packs...* The camera should show the whole bowl, not just half...I would like to see all of what's in the bowl...I've overfed with manual feedings when away, and I didn't need to because I could not see the back half of the bowl.* The camera likes to take random pictures (purple flashes) before it shoots a video which I don't know why, and it adds unneeded files to my SD card. I don't know if it's a glitch or what. It's not motion from anything. And it's not recording sound.*Some of the video is grainy, on HD, with multicolored fuzz...it's possible the nightmode change triggers this....still investigating...*The Desiccant holder accommodates the 10gram pouches I purchased separately (the con is I won't pay $15 for a 6 pack from Petlibro when I can pay $10 for 30 packs for a reputable brand). 14 days to change the silica pouch seems a bit early, but that depends on the food and it's moisture content.* The feeding system is confusing.....1/12 cups is like 2-3 teaspoons..I need 3/12 cups to give 1/4 of an actual cup of kibble. Why can't it just be normal measurements? This was the most frustrating part I had to look at the reviews here to figure it out.My conclusion is it's still a good buy, you get to feed your kids when you're gone for extended periods and not have to worry about them going hungry, You can even watch them live when they do... It is a bit overpriced but it's also peace of mind when it works properly. If they would change the feeding measurement ratios to match true cup measurements, that would be a plus.... The camera is hit and miss for recording, perhaps app updates will help the camera software... the main reason is for the feedings, and it does do that.

Lost functions within months, stopped working after 1.5 years
UPDATE - company reached out and sent me another feeder free of charge. Appreciate them trying to make this right and I will definitely give it another try.Worked well for a while, within months it stopped notifying me when it was empty and my cats didn't eat until I noticed them screaming about it which is very annoying. It's been 1.5 years and it officially stopped working. Won't connect to internet or even chime to begin process no matter what I do. Wont disperse food. No issues with my wifi.

Nice features but too inaccurate to use
Unfortunately we are returning this product. We already have 2 PetLibro water fountains and the smaller 'Air' feeder. They have done their job the 5 months we've had them and our cats like them. The one drawback for the Air feeder is its size - with 2 cats I have to refill it ever 3-5 days. Otherwise it works well. Some reviews were concerned it didn't dispense accurately but I measured several times and it always provided an amount within about 10% of expected - close enough. So I ignored the reviews that said to be careful of this same problem with the Granary. I thought the larger capacity of the Granary meant I'd be able to go 1-2 weeks between refills given it was 2.5x the capacity. My wife also liked the idea of the camera feature so she could see if the cats were eating equally or if just one was using it more. When I set up the Granary it looked like the same mechanism as the Air, but it doesn't work the same way or nearly as well. For some reason it takes a looong time to dispense. Doing the testing during setup took 5 minutes to get it running but over an hour to test how well it put out food because dispensing even just 4x portions took forever (what was supposed to be 1/3rd of a cup). For some reason it pauses between each portion (portion, pause, portion, pause...) and each portion takes almost as long as several portions from the Air. It also makes a lot more noise than the Air, on top of the food hitting the bowl - it sounds like it is straining to dispense the food.I could live with slow dispensing, it was the wildly inaccurate dispense amount that was the deal breaker. The other reviews are right. I tried dispensing in cups, grams, and oz (all 3 possible units). It *never* dispensed more than half as much as it was told. If it always dispensed half I could adjust and just double the scheduled servings. However it wasn't just wrong, it was also wildly inconsistent - dispensing between 20% and 50% of the directed amount with no pattern to the ratio. These aren't guessed values - I recorded the requested amount and then used a measuring cup or scale to measure the result, testing multiple times with different portion counts. There is no way to compensate for that much variability.I followed the troubleshooting and definitely put out way more then the 'it will be inaccurate for the first 6 servings'. The kibble I use (purina pro plan kitten) is within their size recommendation (they have a handy 'no bigger than this' sticker on the machine). Nothing improved the inaccurate and inconsistent serving sizes. Maybe my particular kibble is just too close to being the wrong size or shape despite fitting in their recommended circle.Back to using the smaller Air feeder.
