Trying to wear down my 12 month old Beagle pup and decided we would start running together. We run on forest trails, no pavement. These shoes help maintain balance on rough, steep trails, the tread helps prevent slipping on muddy trails and there is sufficient ankle support to prevent twisting. The fit is my regular shoe size, the arch is sufficient (comfortable) my toes have adequate space to move and flex. I'm really pleased with these running shoes, they clean up well after my runs through the mud. Can't tell yet how long the shoe will hold together but for now I'm really happy with them.

I’m always afraid to buy shoes online because of the sizing, but these sit perfectly. Very comfortable, good for hiking. My feet can breathe without getting wet. Would recommend 100%!

I am headed to the mountains for hiking and need super sturdy boots. These fit great and are well constructed. Just what I need!

Purchased this due to great reviews but unsure if for me. I normally wear size 6 in sandals and 6.5 in Nike’s. Got these in size 6.5. Fit fine, but tried walking around the neighborhood and not really comfortable around the big toes esp when going down the hills keeps hitting the toes despite a little extra room. Glad I haven’t worn them for hiking. Not sure if I should return or try size 7 to have more room on the toes , or size 7 might end being too big?!UPDATE:From 2 stars to 5 stars!!! There’s no Carob (brown) color available but I exchanged to Blush (pinkish) color in size 7. Fits way better and very comfortable. No more issues and did not need to break in....super love...size matters! My only size 7 shoes... so for those who have issues with discomfort around the toes, try sizing up!
