Before purchasing this item, I had read a review stating the bottom had been broken off but thought that to be an isolated incident and so proceeded to purchase which was after due consideration as it would be shipped from the USA to Australia. Sadly, the same fault had occurred with the item I received - the bottom (the cross bar of the hammock) was broken off - seems strange as there was no apparent damage to the box. I decided against a replacement item as, if it happened again, I would not have a 3rd replacement time for the gift to be received on the right occasion. On a positive note, the delivery time via Amazon was excellent and the service for the refund was also handled expeditiously.

Bought this little guy cause I really liked the laid back vibe! It's hanging in my house for now, but will find a great spot out in the garden come spring!The product came well packed and the paint/finish looks really good.
