This is a new supplement for me but it seems to curb the melancholy which is nice.

This has been a great supplement to add to my routine, I noticed I sleep deeper on it and feel great in the morning. Take it just 30 mins before bed, but i can usually feel it kick in fairly quickly, but that's how i am w most supplements. I have also upped my Vitamin D intake, and started drinking yerba mate~ both of which are supposed to help w mood and energy, so im not quite sure how much of each are attributable to how i feel, but i know the sleep part can be attributed to the 5HTP, as that happened right after starting it. I feel very grateful for all the information on it out there, and to everyone who reviewed it so I could feel comfortable purchasing it.

Seems to work, especially with low serotonin levels.

I noticed in 1 night taking this I got one more hour of sleep. Going to keep this as a regular evening supplement. My research a couple years ago showed that in Europe, 5-HTP is prescribed as a supplement to help mood. OUR country is the only one pushing ALL kinds of RX's for depression, mood etc. Where in Europe they're opposite. They seek what individuals are deprived with their vitamin's and mineral's.Was interesting to have read all that.

I did not feel that they worked as well as another brand I was using previously, but, everyone is different.
