Great Addition for RDI
We love RDI! If you love games this should be on your list to play. The rules are easy to understand, especially once you play a round or two. The Gambling and Drink Events can get a little tricky but still easy to grasp. This box adds 4 more characters and some new drinks to the Drink Deck.We ended up getting the storage box from Slugfest Games after getting this set.If you’re looking for a really fun character - get the Pookie deck.

Great game, apply to real life
The goal of the game is to get your fellow players to pass out so you can steal your purse. My gaming group plays it in real life. If your character takes a shot you take a shot. The lightweights use beer, the tougher ones use hard liquor, and those abstaining use pop. I recommend making it the last game of tge night and planning to sleep ot off where you are.

If you havent played it yet, don't hesitate
Red dragon inn is the best board game for crowd pleasing! It is for anyone, not just fantasy nerds. It's full of laughs and a guaranteed great time, its also the gift that keeps on giving with all of the expansions that it has!

Too FUN!!!!
We haven't played board games for over 20 years. This board game has us laughing and having fun again in the winter. I have ADHD so it takes me a bit to re read all my cards but it's worth it.

As a gift
I usually post longer reviews for products I use, and I use pictures. This one I bought as a gift, and I have played with my friend who got it. He has 2 other sets and the game is a lot of fun. Can recommend, but I felt awkward to ask and take pictures for the purpose of a review.

NOT in ANY WAY a "Board Game." An acceptable little themed card game, though.
There's no reason - aside from deception - to describe items as inaccurately as calling this a board game. It would be just the same as calling Uno a board game, with the only practical difference being that this game includes the use of 3 numbers being counted for each player. That aside, though, this *is* a fun little CARD GAME. There are no figures, no enemies, no fighting... Play consists of using the cards (skills) in your hand to affect the values of the 3 numbers defining each player's scores: gold, drunkenness, and consciousness. Each character's skillset focuses more on one type of effect than others - the thief-type player is best at affecting gold scores, for example. There are not a wide variety of cards, and this is in no way a deep strategy game. Calling it a strategy game at all is already a very long stretch - again, Uno... probably more strategy than this one - but this game IS a fun little socially-interactive game of lighthearted competition. It's a bit dark in theme, of course, as you're winning by trying to get other players drunk enough to pass out so you can take their money... but there are some good entertaining twists during play and opportunities for hearty yelling at your table. This game won't be the core of a game night, with even our first learn-to-play game and a second game with different characters taking only an hour altogether, but it can comfortably fill out the evening when folks aren't quite ready to go home yet. It's shallower than what I hoped, but will work as expected, to dovetail with a game of Tales From [same]... I haven't played the latter yet but I hope it's good enough to warrant game night play, if only so that we can close the night with this one.

My only disappointment is that I still have so much space to fill!
I wasn't quite sure what I expected with this box. I certainly didn't expect it to be absolutely enormous. Box design is similar to the rest. I had a few slightly grubbed corners, but I'd expect them to wear down anyways so that wasn't a big deal.I only have the RDI 1 boxed set on hand to compare, but the storage is almost incomparable. Whereas the boxed set has the plastic insert that holds up to 8 decks in a messy fashion. It can definitely hold more if you remove the insert, but then you need to organize it so that the cards don't get mixed up.This box, on the other hand, is large enough to hold perhaps at least 90 decks plus extra materials. A single column can easily hold 30 player decks. The game itself comes with a few extra goodies (I've attached pictures) for people who have all the expansions.Mats for every character. These are in full color, and are about half as large as the original RDI mats. You don't have places for the decks, but you can throw these on top of them, or play without them.Dividers/Info Cards for every character and drink deck. These are slightly taller than the card and allow you to arrange the decks and see the contents without having to pull them out, and are labeled on both sides. The front features a portrait, while the rear has a small bio/explanation of character-specific gimmicks. Both a usable set of cardboard tokens (set of 8) and glass tokens (set of 4). Your choice which to use.A pair of black drawstring bags for gold. Each bag can hold about 2 games' worth of gold pieces and will take up about half a column.Extra plastic baggies. I threw the cardboard tokens into this.Enough foam dividers for you to stock up a single column. I was afraid these would be short. I was horribly wrong. There are a lot of them.I only managed to put in my Red Dragon Inn 1 Box and Red Dragon Inn 5 cards so far, and it's pretty apparent that this box will take quite a while to fill. For even the fully dedicated purchaser, this box is pretty big. I'm thinking about putting all my Cards Against Humanity expansions into one of the other columns at this rate!
