Perfect for motorcycle use
I use these to clean out threads on motorcycle components. Getting rid of old loctite and other gunk is vital to prevent damaging threads and ensuring that new loctite is able to cure properly.

Worked great.
Worked great on my 99 Silverado with LR4 (4.8L v8) for heads. Cleaned exhaust manifold bolt holes and the small bolt holes for the heads. Love ARP stuff.

Must buy for rebuild or head replacement. Definitely cleans out the threads really well. Two passes should do the job.

There is a difference between taps and chasers. Chasers are much cheaper at the bar ;)no seriously
These are great, and there is definitely a difference between taps and chasers. However I think ARP is on some glue with what they charge for these little gems. But maybe they are made out of some exotic high tensile material or the manufacturing process is intensive. Who knows, my only gripe was the price. You can't beat ARP quality! And Amazon had the best price.
