Q: What's the warranty on these? How easy it is to deal with support?

Mine just encountered a mopping issue, the mop attachment no longer works. I only used it a couple of times, the robot is only 3 months old. I sent customer service an email a few days ago, no response as of yet but will give them a few days since it was the weekend. I read negative reviews on other sites, no response or warranty service. So I will update my review after I see how they respond. For $250 I sorta figured this was a toss in the trash product if it failed, would think twice before spending more on another product. Good thing is the mopping feature is not a need to have since it’s not that great anyway.

Q: Does it detect carpet when mopping ?

I think the questioner wants to know if the mopping function stops when the L10 Pro hits a carpet. It does not stop the mopping function when it goes over a carpet. However, this is not a problem because (1) the mop itself is only slightly wet and does not leave much water on any floor surface, and (2) the water used is just plain tap water without any additives (like detergent). The mopping function is like a one-time pass over an area with a wet cloth; it does not scrub or deliberately go back over a soiled area. For example, if there is something sticky on the floor, it is unlikely to clean it as well as a hand mop that could apply more force and repeatedly go over the area until it is clean.

Q: Can I leave the Mop on overnight? My roborock has a moisture proof pad to avoid damaging the floor while this bot doesn't have one

No, it gives a notice to take the map off when it finishes and the mop touches the floor when it is docked. It does a nice job though. I put a paper thin plastic cutting board under the dock where it sits.
