I did these with 5 kids. The 2 with adhd had a hard time and wanted to just bust them with a hammer. Not the products fault though. The other kids, it kept them busy and was good value for the money. It does make a huge mess so best for outside or at the table.

My grandson absolutely loves these eggs. We do them outside because they can be a little messy, but they keep him occupied for hours. Great for those who love dinosaurs and a great STEM project!

Photos attached show the size compared to an adult's hand, I thought it was bigger when I ordered, even though it was smaller than I imagined it is still a good size for a younger child. I bought this for my 3 year old son's birthday. He loves these dig kits. It is fun for him to break them apart and discover the rocks/gems/fossils etc. This is also much cheaper than some of the other options and gives a good.hour or more of fun. It wasn't broken upon arrival, it was fully intact. A little dusty, but that is it. Perfect square box so it was easy to gift wrap. It comes with a few durable tools and an instruction manual. Overall a good purchase. Great fun for a young child or curious toddler. Buy it!

These eggs come packaged in a carton as you would buy hen eggs in a store. They are separately wrapped in a clear plastic that you remove before chipping away at the egg with the tools provided to get to the Dino inside. I bought these as an Easter gift for my 4yo autistic nephew who loves any Dino egg. They are a grayish color snd we may have been able to add a dye or paint to them but we didn’t. So we opened the eggs on our living room floor. It was a mess but we kept it contained. We washed the Dinos afterward in soapy water. Easy peasy. I would buy these again. It was a fun day,
