This product is sublime. I've used it for years now — just wish it was a tad cheaper!Funny story: after a lengthy meth binge, I decided I needed to spruce myself up before hitting the town (night number five (he's a consecutive King)). I'm big on maximising space — reached into my kitchen cupboard and ended up smearing a tin of tuna into my scalp for a full five minutes before realising my mistake.For those wondering, it was in brine.

Shaving products are just a must have for any guy who want to make his girlfriend happy (smell great, skin is soft), hair product are great complement to the set!Hair product smell really nice too. Based on my observations pomade is light and doesn’t hold shape of hair for long, it is with slight sleek look. Clay holds really well, but smell is not as nice as other products, plus it is mat finish and I think a bit of shine looks better (clay holds literally all day, including sweaty exercises). Paste looks like taking best of the two above, holds almost as long as clay (doesn’t pass exercise test though), smell really good and give gentle shine to hair.Definitely girlfriend approved product :)

This review is from my husband who used this product.I thought I'd try this as an alternative to my usual hair gel as I was finding that with not being able to get my hair cut due to lockdown, my hair was getting too long to style with the gel I had been using.First impressions are that the tin looks nice and it's easy to open. The smell of the paste was pleasant. Especially compared to others that I have used before.A little bit stickier than I'm used to but that doesn't bother me as long as it does its job. I'll need to wash my hands regardless after applying it as well, so not an issue how sticky it is on my hands.I was having trouble with the bottom of my hair at the back. When it gets longer it starts to curl so I wanted something that would allow me to style it straight and hopefully keep it that way.It held for a few hours each day which is better than my previous gel and pretty good overall, considering my collar was constantly rubbing against the section of hair during the day so was doing its best to loosen the hold.It gives a natural looking hold and isn't shiny which helps to add to that natural look.Priced at £17.49, it's not far off double what I normally pay but if it does the job then it's worth it.

BlueBeards Revenge Matt styling paste.Gives a decent hold smells great and washes out with no issues and leaves hair feeling soft afterwards.Paste also comes in a reasonably heavy duty Aluminium tin which can be recycled or reused only gripes are its expensive compared to other (and in my opinion just as good) styling pastesAnd the fact it has more of a wet look than other Mat pastes.

I really like Bluebeards Revenge products. They are great quality, and likely to be appreciated just as much by salon owners as by home users.This is a Matt Paste and can be applied to dry hair, or wet hair which is subsequently dried, and styled. Personally I prefer to use it on wet hair, as it makes it easier to style. You simply use a small amount, rub it between your hands, and then massage into your hair starting at the roots, and working out to the tips. I was surprised how easy it was to achieve the style I wanted, and how long that style lasted. The paste also smells great, with a distinct citrus aroma as soon as you remove the lid. The paste comes in a recyclable aluminium tin, and all the ingredients are top quality. It is suitable for vegetarians, and vegans too, and the manufacturing process is ecologically friendly.It's good to support companies with good ethical morals, even if their products cost a little more. This paste isn't cheap, but you really don't need to use much, so this pot will last me ages.Like their other products this Matt Paste is sure to be popular with professional stylists, and with those particular about their hair care at home too. I definitely recommend it.

Myself and my Partner are big fans of The Bluebeards Revenge range, we own a few of their products and they're all very original, unique and well packaged and branded, we love pirates in this households so the skull theme is a bonus for us.This is a matt styling paste for hair, presented in their classic jar style packaging with screw top lid. The texture of the paste is quite thick and substantial and works through hair well. My Partner tested this to spike his hair up and liked the feel of it and how it held the hair well. We also both like that it isn't shiny like some products, we're not fans of the 'wet look' they can give, so this being matt allows your hair to look normal whilst retaining the holding power.This is great for adding texture and character to your hair, it holds all day and you only need to use a small amount. The scent is pleasant too and I even use this to spike the ends of my feathered hair too!Recommended, this is a great product and works really well.
