Good product well recommended easy to use

I bought a Quicksilver pump, it broke while pumping, had it exchanged and the second one didn’t work either. This one worked perfectly! Took out all the oil right away. Love it.

Pump worked good. Supplied drain hose is way too stiff and won’t go on. I k ow other people have heated it up to put on but I didn’t want to deal with that. I had some clear hose that fit pretty well but added a hose clamp to make sure it didn’t leak. The clear hose is great. Don’t know why they wouldn’t use clear rather than hard black stiff hose. For what it cost should have provided a better hose IMO. Make sure to warm up oil in engine first. Then pumped out quickly. I didn’t get it hot but warmed up decent for oil to flow easier.

Got the oil out of my 4.3 omc in a flash. The back of the boat was in the way to put the pump straight up, but the rubber boot on the bottom let's you bend it a little and it still pumps fine. I pumped the oil cold, because my battery was dead and I'm impatient. I bet if you warm it up it goes super easy, but even 50 degree oil pumps without too much hassle.The only complaint is the included discharge hose doesn't really fit on the pump. I had to heat it up with a torch for it to stretch over. And its pretty short. All those problems could be fixed by running to the hardware store and spending 75¢ on a piece of hose. But as we discussed earlier, I'm impatient.

I used it for my 2019 5.7 Volvo Penta 300hp. So easy to use and got out every drop of old oil!

This pump made changing my boat's oil a breeze. The only issue I ran into is the distance from the top of my dipstick connection to the top of the bilge was real tight for the height of this unit. So check before you buy. Also, the tube supplied with this is like concrete, not flexible at all. I have no idea who spec'd that out but I mean, it is rigid! I had a piece of clear tubing lying around that worked great and you can see the oil in it. Pumped about 6.5 quarts in a few minutes. Make sure you warm your engine first.

I bought with the some skepticism, but decided to give it a try to change the oil in my Mercruiser Mag350. It worked so well, I was shocked. As others have mentioned, the hose provided is very hard, stiff and short. Instead of using that, I installed some longer, more flexible hose to reach to empty gallon jugs. The pump easily screws onto the dipstick tube and a couple quick pumps and you are pumping oil. I didnt get any siphon action because the oil pan was lower than the output, but it was still quick and easy. Probably 90 seconds to pump warm engine oil out.

This is a quality tool and works as described and intended ! You might not want to workout on your arms and shoulders the morning of intended use ! It is a great workout !

for decades we brought our boat to the local marina for general maintenance, oil-changes and fixes. It was just the cost of having a boat. Oil-changes were part of the overall bill and never cheap. After some youtube browsing I came across a guy in Florida showing how oil changes are done on Volvo Penta engines. I could not believe how easy, clean and fast it was. Long story short, I bought the recommended Jabso vacuum extractor pump, the respecitive oil filter from NAPA and oil from Canadian Tire when their Penzoil sale was on. (<30 bucks per 5l, full synthetic premium).Did the oil-change after a few a boat ride, (after another 15+ minutes of cool down time). The pump sucked it out via the dipstick pipe effortless. Be a little careful, the oil is still warm to hot and the pump has a metal housing => pump gets hot as well. after roughly 3 minutes pumping, the oil was out, not a single drop spilled in the boat. Filter change was slightly harder due to the location of the oilfilter on our 4.3GL Volvo. with the right filter crown socket that wasn't too hard either. Pro Tip: Put a ziplock bag over the filter when removing the old one, this catches some oil that is dripping out of the filter when removing.All in all, can highly recommend that pump. Cost is around $80 CAD in most cases.

Do yourself a favor and get regular clear tubing instead of the hard black plastic tubing that comes with the pump, much easier to work with and you can cut it to the length that works for you. Drained my 7.5 liter boat engine in about 5 minutes with no real effort or any mess. Just make sure to heat the oil up prior to pumping.

Easy to use. Did the joe perfect. I’m really happy with this product. I will recommend.

Just did an oil change on a Merc 3.0. What a handy tool that says. If you buy one you will find it hard to get the discharge hose on I heated mine up a little bit over a stove and also did that to straighten the holes a little bit but then it slid on very nicely. Make sure you warm up your motor and the oil first, it will make it a lot easier to get the oil out. I hope this lasts for a while, a few seasons at least, But for now I am very happy with this came quickly and as advertised
