Follow the instructions...and double them!
Never having done this I was a little wary, especially with some reviews saying not to bother. But, I went for it. I made sure to fully coat the printout with Clear Coat, with over half a dozen coats. Some of the transfers looked a little plastic but the use of Micro-sol and Mircro-set helps with that. There were only one failure and two close calls from a full sheet of A4 decals. One disintegrated but it was a tiny decal with tiny writing so I was pushing it. The other two were splits but that was more my being too over confident after a while and they did go back together well. I will be using this again and making more of my own decals now. As long you make sure to completely cover the printout with clear coat, well, and leave it to harden/cure long enough, I don't see any reason anyone should struggle with this.

Have patience and it will work.
First time I've used waterslide. The colours print great onto the paper. I used acrylic spray to seal the images first. It's a bit fiddly and very delicate so I wasted a couple of sheets.. the backing is quite thick and doesn't slide off easily, but I found if you soak it a little longer than the suggested time, it works. If you have patience you can achieve good results.

Decal paper
My first time using decals for prints for cups am happy with results they are very delecate and need to be careful not to rip when placing on cups but they give good result i bought the sealing spray also got offered to buy 2 items with discount so got both saved me looking for the varnish sealer and worked out cheaper to get both the sealer also really good for the decals and for after place onto cups to seal the print so am really happy with the purchase and have reordered and going to subscribe xx

Great to make you own stickers
These are more accurately described as stickers rather than decals, but have worked very well for me.I used them with a monochrome laser printer to make text stickers for the back of my car and they have worked very well. They don't need long in the water to loosen up the backing paper; 1-2 minutes.

Doesn’t work without acrylic spray varnish
Product was good but I wasn’t aware it had to be varnished prior to adding to water the ink just melted , I’ve sent for some spray acrylic varnish I hope I have more success I’ll keep you posted !Ok printed out a little yellow motive allowed to dry., gave it a coat of Acrylic vanish then another hours later, allowed 24 hours to dry, tried the motive it didn’t break but it vanished on a dark surface 😳

The Worst Product I Have Ever Bought (literally)
Don't buy these unless you want to be extremely frustrated. For some ****** ** reason the glue seems to be on the outside, they don't hold colours, which immediately run and melt, then they fold in and shrivel on themselves and you will not be able to unstick them. Utterly useless. If they were a car you and your family would be in a ditch when you tried to drive around the first corner. I work hard and do my job properly, if this type of unprofessionalism and general shoddiness went on at my workplace the perpetrators would be sacked on the spot. Don't waste your money.

Works really well
Had to use one sheet to play around with to get the hang of how to use this but once I’d found the best varnish coating it worked well. Small decals are easy to make and use but larger ones require care - I found that if you’re not very careful they tend to stretch on application but with practice this can be avoided. I have used it to prepare decals of various sizes to put onto clock faces, such as the dog in the picture.

White ink is difficult for a computer to produce
So we thought make up the image and use the white vinyl base where there should be ink. We first bought a clear base product and realised this was wrong for our use hence turning to the white version. The vinyl is a bit thicker than we would prefer and it can crease and crack the overprinted image but it can do well, the only downside there maybe is our colour matching isn't working too well, it is different than the colours on white paper in the same printer.
