Great Cables At a Good Price

The media could not be loaded. Awesome cables at a good price. Installed these along with the 24 pin XPG PSU cables and they go well together. I used the controller that is supplied with the 24 pin PSU cables since my motherboard doesn't have any RGB headers (I have a older Gigabyte motherboard from before RGB was popular). They work great! The colors are nice and bright too. In my picture and video I uploaded, they don't look as bright as they usually are due to the sunlight coming from the window nearby but they are indeed nice and bright. My only complaint about these (and the 24 pin PSU cables) is that they are very stiff which doesn't allow much flexibility where you install them. It's nice how the 24 pin PSU cables and the 8 pin VGA cables are synced together though! There's a few different modes and speed options with the controller but the one in the video is my favorite. They also seem to be made of great quality. I am overall very happy with them.

Works well for a competitive price

I’m really happy with this item! I was concerned about it because others recommended the Lian Li Strimer instead, but this was offered for a much better price and works well with my build.I have this hooked up to the Razer ARGB controller so the lights sync with my fans. Looks great together! The one complaint is that the ARGB plug fits loosely into the Razer product so I had to adjust it a few times, but once I got it wedged between the controller and part of my case it was fine.

Cool

Different thickness and colors then lain li. Ide get both of the same type of I was you. Looks great and works fine.Won’t work when connected to my MB, only works if plugged into my fan hub o.O

OK for the price.

Used this for a while, before I swapped to the Lian Li ones. The led'd are nice, but are not bright like the rest of my case. I did a video on the Lian Li cables. This looks good for the price, but to connect is a pain. It literally cut me to add, and remove. The motherboard, and power supply connector are super stiff. It comes with an 5v RGB connector so connecting to a controller, or directly to the motherboard it's easy. The braided power wires are of good quality, but I messed them up when blood came out of my finger.

Works great, but check orientation or power plugs

I have used these in a few builds and find them to be easy to use.The only caveat is that you need to be aware of the orientation of the power connectors on your GPU. These seem to work best, or install best, if the retention clips are toward the front of the GPU. That allows the connectors to feed up from the GPU. Otherwise, they feed down, toward any other cards you have installed. That would also prevent them from being used at all if you were trying to do a vertical GPU installation.

Works with Thread Ripper MSI MB and Razer Synapses & Mystic Light

Pros: The XPG RGB cables Add a clean organized look plus the needed length for hiding cables. I enjoy using Studio Apps from razer and mystic light for the Music.Cons: Would like to see a better app from XPG that can be crossed over in Razer synapse to unlock many more features that XPG has in these lights. I had problems with Beta XPG apps conflicting with MSI and didn't work with Razer until I gave the Mystic light control over the XPG. The effects that XPG has in Beta cannot be replicated in the other apps as far as I have been able to do. But just like everything else, it will take time for Software to catch up as it is showing this week in the Nvidia GPU world.

LOVE these for the on-sale price

The media could not be loaded. Picked up a couple when the set of two was under $20. I have absolutely zero regrets; they helped sell my first PC custom build.

Dim, bulky, stiff. Horrible product

Preface: I don't take my time to write reviews all that often, so please understand that what I am saying below is completely objective and based on a real product comparison I made to another product (Lian Li Strimer). I'm upset not only that this is such a sad excuse for a product but also because of the amount of time I spent TRYING to make this work and it simply would not. I have no relation to Lian Li or anything, I just bought their set after installing this and seeing how terrible it was and I would like to save others from this hellfire. If you like to shake your soda or beer can before opening it to make sure all of the carbonation is out, you will love this product. Just like drinking a warm and flat beer, this cable solution provides happiness only to a select few. I bought it because it was a little cheaper at the time but what a terrible mistake that was.First of all, as you can see in the comparison photos, the XPG is EXTREMELY dim. Mind you this is at maximum brightness using its included controller and the same thing happens when connected to a razer chroma ARGB hub. Oh, and good luck getting all of the LEDs to work at once. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. To be fair, this could be the Chroma Software I am using but the point remains that Lian Li doesn't have this problem. The ARGB 3 pin 5v connections are horribly designed and the pins are flimsy yet the connector housing is bulky and can't plug into any hubs or controllers without being shaved down (including its own included controller lol). They are extremely stiff and you can't straighten them out anymore than is shown in the second video because the actual cables are much shorter than the light bars. Trying to bend it presents a bigger issue because it then puts SO MUCH torque on the connectors I felt uncomfortable as soon as making the connection. The ends of the lighted strip are so large that if you, like me, have a board with the front panel USB header immediately next to the 24-pin ATX connector, you will need to either forgo the USB or shave down the connector housing of you front panel link to make room for this monstrosity. It also makes for one heck of a cable management issue if you don't have a stellar case to accommodate the connectors in the back. Also, specific to the 8-pin GPU connectors, they are split into two cables which makes it hard to make them visually appealing (see the first picture where the Lian Li Strimer is a solid run) and you also cannot flip them over to accommodate different GPU power sockets so depending on your card, you're stuck in one configuration.
