Why did you pick this product vs others?:You have no idea how many Mandoline slicers I have gone through! Some of them just weren't precise enough, some of them had such a small surface that the vegetables didn't fit, some of them trashed my veggies, and some of them were just insanely difficult to clean. That's my only concern with this one. But it's dishwasher safe so that's helpful. It slices fabulously! The onions and tomatoes came out perfectly. I've been comparing everything to my old pampered chef slicer, which I still miss. But this is a close second because everything is all in one and you don't even have to take the blades out, which is good for me because I tend to be a bit accident from. My only complaint is that the instructions are almost nil. They really tell you nothing. Good thing I already know how to use one of these. I was hoping for more precise instructions on cleaning, but what I got was something very brief. I will figure it out. Other than that, this is a great product.

I bought one of those facebook specials. The kind that you crank. It arrived in about six weeks. Broken. A $40 plastic piece of trash. So, it bought this instead and am delighted.It is solid and sturdy , does not slip on the counter, opens up for super easy cleaning, and folds up for compact storage. I highly recommend this product.

Love this mandolin. The quality is wonderful. Not plastic but strong metal. Just turn the dial and it gives you the exact degree of slicing you want or julienne. There's no need to continually change out blades. Get it....you won't be sorry. Good Luck.

Works great! RESPECT IT!!!! I messed up and didn’t use the tool or glove and it bit me, my own stupid fault, read the reviews WARNING about it takin finger tip……………well it got one of mine but only because I was stupid and didn’t use the pusher or the glove, USE THE EQUIPMENT THAT COMES WITH IT!!!!!!!!!

The absolute best slicer! Its sharp and super easy to use. Gets the job done in no time at all!

This blade was sharp the very first usage. It seemed to feel more dull on second usage. I als noticed that shavings of black plastic were coming from the provided hand guard. I didn’t notice it until a large piece came off. Nobody likes to eat plastic!!!

Works very well for slicing a variety of vegetables. Easy to clean by removing one part. Only complaint is that it includes only one blade cover. I lost mine and now I have to be extra careful when storing it.
