Excellent lacquer stained finish . Stainless Steel hardware fittings a letdown ! The 2 octagonal long nuts are not stainless steel .In use, would rust v soon . Detract from the value of an excellent product finish.Got the 2 long Nuts specially made from a 304 SS , 10 mm rod .

I searched for this item for years. Thankfully, this is exactly why I love Amazon: sourcing hard to find necessary things. This is replacing a black plastic cover which kept breaking due to the weird size that did not fit my old Hindustan Ware commode. This is beautifully made, fits perfectly, and I hope it’s the last toilet seat cover I will ever need to replace over my black commode.

Does not fit that well

NOT SUUTABLE FOR CASCADE TYPE PARRY FLUSH COMMODES.THE FIXING STUD DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY AND MISALIGNED.STUD BROKE SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS WAS DUE TO STRESS ON THE FIXING STUD DUE TO MISALIGNMENT.

Whilst the shape is correct the hinges behind raise the height of the seat cover away from the pot. As a result the support near the hinge doesn’t rest on the pot.In course of time, the unsupported seat cover will crack on the two sides.

the hinges shud be more strong n thicker. The front rubber pads shud be stuck sideways

Very bad fittings. Can not fit even after adjusting length. Plastic screws cannot tight so seat is always moving.
