AEOTEC Button for Doorbell 6, Smart Home Chime Extension Accessory, IP55 Waterproof, Battery Powered, 433 MHz

This is designed to work with the Siren 6, and I experienced no problems whatsoever. The packaging included a small pamphlet that tells you exactly how to accomplish this.

I was hoping he button could work independently from the chime hardware with my smart hub. Unfortunately it appears the chime itself handles that part. So I got a button I can’t really use. Might get the chime later but looking elsewhere for other options for now.

It is identical to the button that came with my Doorbell 6 by Aeotec. I had been waiting for this to be available so I could add a second doorbell on my home. I use it with a SmartThings Hub and published device handlers for the Doorbell 6 and the button. This button has a battery life of 30 days or less. Replaced original battery after I found button unresponsive. Used a Energizer battery and the volts on this battery tested good when installed. After another 30 days found the button unresponsive again and battery had low voltage. The button that came with the Doorbell 6 still has the original battery after 6 months. Both buttons are only used approx. one time or less a week.

I ordered this and was able to link it only the first time, after 24 hours the item stopped working. I reached out to manufacturers and followed their procedures for troubleshooting and that did not work, I then ordered another one and does not link or sunk with the siren 6 of their same brand.

I purchased this door bell this past June and the button becomes stuck. I'm not sure what the life cycle is on this button but for the cost the button should last longer.

this does not work with Sonoff RF bridge. weird.

Purchased this together with 2 additional buttons. Works well and loud enough to hear in the entire house.

Does'nt work in extreme cold; the manufacturer state that those temp start at -10 C.
