Perfect Speaker Stands
A Very important accessory for the audioengine A2+. My previous set was damaged in moving, recently. I am whole, once again.

They do what they are supposed to
They do what they are supposed to and they do it pretty well maybe a little over priced but they are nice

A bit expensive, but they really do improve the sound quality
I was skeptical when I read that I need to get stands for my speakers. But I put these on my A2+ speakers and they really improved the quality as it is more aligned to your ears. That being said these are cheaply made stands and really should've been included with speakers at the price that Audioengine is asking for them.

surprisingly, these are worth it
not sure what the current price of these are on Amazon now, but you must be thinking, there's no way its actually worth it. I thought that too but bought them anyway, and I think I was wrong. These look quality on my desk, and are at just the right angle for when im sitting at a desk

The difference is huge...
I have been using the Audioengine 2 desktop/computer speakers for years; I have two pair for different computer setups. Somehow I overlooked these stands until today - a huge mistake. As an audiophile (my primary audio system is 5 figures, so yes sound quality is a critical part of my enjoyment of music), I assure you this is a required upgrade if you want the most from these incredibly accurate, detailed speakers with very good bass for their size. What is different? The detail of the highs and mids comes into focus and are much more clear, the bass is more accurate; in short the music becomes more involving and enjoyable. For $30 it's a a no-brainer if you want the most out of the Audioengine 2 speakers. Highly recommended!FOLLOW-UP: Audiophile UpdateI decided to order the new version of the stands also to do a comparison of sound quality (A-B-A) between the two (like I said I am an audiophile). I completed this today, skeptical I would hear that big a difference - I was very wrong. Listing to a FLAC CD quality feed with my favorite music service it was immediately clear the new version of the stands (DS1M) are clearly an upgrade from the originals. Overall, the music “breathes” - there is more detail and clarity to the mids/highs and more pace and energy to the music (less sluggish and bloated). I am exchanging the originals for the new ones, at only $10 more than the original version it’s a no brainer for me (and anyone with a critical ear for music quality).

Great!
They actually do make a difference. Clears up the low mids by getting the speakers off the desk and improves the highs due to angle. I actually ordered another pair.

Amazingly effective
great for nearfield monitors on your desk. Surprised at how effective they were. They seem to work as well as when I had my monitors on speaker stands beside my old desk. Not only does it set the tweeters to your ear axis, it gets the woofer off the desk for less muddiness and smearing reflections. The angle helps this, too.
