Does not replace 799056
I know, the add does not say it replaces this number pump but it looks exactly like many other pumps that "replace" the 799056. So, beware. If at all possible check the size of the space you have to place the pump and see if the pump sizes are the correct size. You can't tell from the illustrations, etc. It has been and is frustrating to try and find a replacement that actually fits when it says it does. I have the rating at 5 stars because the seller is very responsive and helpful.

Doesn't work at all
Bought this fuel pump for Kohler Courage because it is supposed to be compatible with 24 393 16-S but it isn't working. Bought it a few months ago and just got around to installing it, stored in box the whole time but it's not work--disconnected fuyel line to carb and no gas is being pumped out. Wondering if this is just a defective product...will see what vendor can do about replacing it.
