Definitely worth the money
This is a definitely good product as it worked on my mom's lift chair with ease. As I've had it over a year now and it is still working fine. Easy plug-in and play I highly recommend this product

Simple Plug & Play - Works!
Just received this remote today. It plugged into the socket without any issues and worked as it should. It's a little bigger than I expected, but that's fine. As long as it works.

It Works!
My husband is disabled and has a "no name brand" lift chair. It began not responding when he'd try to make it go up or down about a week ago. We thought we were going to have to replace it, which we can't afford to do right now. Since it seemed to be an issue with the control, I asked him to unplug it so that I could see what type of connection it had. I searched on here and most of them were really expensive, especially for something that I didn't even know would solve the problem. Then, I saw this controller and the price was very reasonable. I decided that it was worth it to take a chance since it had great reviews. It arrived the next day (!) and we plugged it in. Voila! It works perfectly! This really saved us a lot of money and effort. I am thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Works great for my no brand chair
We inherited a lift chair for my mom. Worked well until the control cord was damaged. No idea what the brand is, as there is no brand labeled anywhere, not even on the control box. After searching and finding expensive replacements, we found this listing. The shape, color, and buttons look different from the one that came with the chair (see picture) but the connection to the motor looked the same and the price was a relief. Connected in a few seconds and we are good to go again. I think Mom likes this one at least as well, perhaps better. The buttons are a little smaller but are closer together than the original control, making it a little easier for her to use.A note of caution, some of these are a straight connection and some are at a 90 degree angle (may be called an "L" connection). Be sure to get the right one for your chair.

Good Control, a Bit Larger Than Need Be, Cable Weakness Noted
Lasted 6 years before failing. Worked well, compatible with my La z Boy lift chair. Needed reinforcing as cable enters control. Good, sturdy and functional control. Only problem I encountered was cable fraying at entry point to control box rendering the unit inoperative. Buying a second one. In the In the 17 years I have owned and used my lift chair daily I have had to replace the hand control four times, about every 5 to 6 years.Just got my new control (3/21/25) and it is NOT like the prior model, quite a bit bigger, a little awkward to use. I liked the more compact model but this new one is OK. Plugged right in and seems to work fine. Noted the cable entry point to hand control is exactly the same as my old one and that is the weak part of this unit; repeated bending of the cable at the entry point causes fraying and eventual failure. Planned obsolescence?

It works!!! Easy to install. Converts a right-handed control to a left-handed control.
This control is found under different brand names from various sellers on Amazon. They all look the same, so I'm assuming they have a common Chinese manufacturer. Thus, this review applies to all of them. For about $11 to $13, you have a control that converts a right-handed recliner control to a left hand-recliner control. Plus it is easy to install. Given the premium manufacturers charge for left handed controls on recliners, this is a cost-efficient way to go.All you have to do is turn the recliner upside down and find the 5 pin plug and connection for the chair's normal control. Unplug the plug from the connection and plug in the new plug for the new control. Return the chair to its upright position and -- voila -- the new control will work. There are many in-depth explanations on youtube if you want more info.In my case, I am using the recliner after surgery on my right shoulder. Most of the recliners had right hand controls, which I could not control because my right hand was immobilized after surgery. By buying this, however, it allowed me to utilize my good hand with a left handed control, plus it put the control on the end of a cord which is more convenient anyway. The only negative is that after installation the up and down arrows were reversed, but that could be a normal result of switching it from right to left. For the price, it didn't bother me.
