Bought this item to replace my old OBD2 scanner and read way more than just engine codes. I was having a problem clearing a code so I reached out to customer service because I was questioning whether the adapter was working correctly. While their car models didn't include my car, they added that vehicle and had me try again. Because I used their app, they knew exactly what my tests showed and actually identified the code as one that could not be cleared without repair. I created a code on my other car and was able to clear it. So in the end, this adapter was smarter than me ;-) I can see extended tests for ABS and such for my 2002 Nissan XTerra (but not my 2003 Honda Element). And the nice thing about buying the adapter is that I have unlimited vehicles, with no time limit. It's cheaper to buy this adapter and use the software than to use the software with another adapter and a yearly subscription

The scan tool arrived earlier than expected from the US to Canada.I tried the tool and software on one of our cars, a 2009 Pontiac G8, immediately that had a MIL caused by a misfire DTC. The vehicle has this code regularly, so I knew what it was. Immediately, the software found that code since the MIL was on. Did a complete module scan and found no other codes as expected.The software provided instructions on how to clear the code including key and ignition positions. The procedure was correct.The software is not fancy but it works well to perform diagnostics.When you buy the module, you get a lifetime subscription to basic or main diagnostics.There is a button for advanced features, but that requires an upgrade in your subscription. That is $300 USD for a lifetime. So, needless to say, I did not upgrade. Maybe in the future, but I bought this tool on sale.I will test the tool on the 2014 Jeep this weekend and provide an update.

I tried the app on my Sony phone, then on a Samsung Galaxy, it would not work on either. The support phone number is for India which i don't have a plan for so I emailed them, they emailed back the next day saying they fixed the issue, to reinstall the app and try it again. I did but there was no change in the error messages produced by the two phones. I didn't have time to help them troubleshoot bugs via email so I sent it back.On the Sony phone I couldn't open the software at all, I would immediately get the message, “Unfortunately Garage Pro has stopped”.On the Samsung I could run the app but when attempting to scan I received the message, “There was some problem in syncing data. Please click on ‘Retry’ to try again".

I think this is the best deal for an ODBII scanner available. I needed to read brake codes on my GM vehicle. I wanted to try a DIY repair on my ABS ECBM module. It was inoperative and throwing codes. I did now want to do it until I had something that would read brake codes including the wheel speed sensors. I pulled the module and reflowed the solder joints on the circuit board and replaced one wheel speed sensor. After reinstallation, it worked! I cleared the codes and was error code free. This setup can read more systems than you can shake a stick at. :-)

Amazing OBD. Was looking for a device that can read my Accord’s airbag codes and this did that.

I like this it works great and does what I'm looking for in codes and gives possible solutions of what it could be and love the pdf file it emails me with all the codes. Great product might buy a few more so that all my vehicles will have there own so that way I dont have to remove it and install into the others.

The OBDII scanner I received did not work at all - would not appear in the bluetooth menu of multiple Android and Apple devices.I was able to use the included software with a different OBDII scanner (Carista), but despite explicit advertising that it could reset airbag codes, it could not reset the airbag code on my porsche, or even detect the airbag fault.

No offense the customer desk did upgrade me to premium plan for free and with a check engine light still on the reader shows its everything is fine with check engine light still on. Image attached. I tried the immobilizer function on 6 different makes but the option didn't even show up across any vehicle from 2003 to 2019.
