Smells the same as the Original
Was very pleased. Since the original Royal Copenhagen is no longer abalone and I’m not keen on the Musk scents I was glad to find the 1775 version.If your wife or daughter remember the old scent on you - this is pretty close

Not the same as before
Doesn’t smell the same as it used to. Doesn’t last for very long either. Previous bottle that my husband had was a light pleasant sent that lasted all day. This new bottle is slightly lighter in color, and lasts 45-90 minutes before the scent fades completely. Very disappointing and won’t be buying this product off of Amazon again .
