OEM Replacement 3 Position Ignition Key Switch for Polaris Ranger Sportsman Magnum Scrambler

Perfect fit for my 2009 Polaris Ranger 500 4x4. I was having problems with the fuel pump not connecting and hard start. Also would loose connection when In starting position. Positioning of this replacement sits at 1 o’clock rather than 12 so to speak but that makes me ZERO difference. Look no further this will solve any weird problems you have associated with a bad ignition switch

The nipple on the switch housing is in the incorrect location causing the switch to indicate it is in the ON position when it is truly in the OFF position. 2002 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O.

it works great. it doesn't have a position for your headlights. that's an easy fix thou.

It's a OEM part, fit excellent in my Polaris Ranger 2004, 4x4 and the function it's great. What he really needed to My Ranger was the rubber of the key. But buy the full switch because the price was excellent and have a 2 keys now and a switch in spare.

Part fit perfectly on my 2016 Polaris Sportsman 450. Only fault in product is the ignition is rotated to the right about a quarter inch. Has no effect on performance though.

worked fine, however, if your ranger 400 has headlights, this switch does not contain a position to turn on the headlights.

Switch worked great at first but after three weeks of use every day the ranger kept blowing fuses. I went back through the ranger thinking I had another component shorted but to no avail. It turned out to be the switch again. After taking it apart you can see where the contacts are wearing through the insulation between contacts and leaving a copper line between the contacts causing a short in my case when you try and start and intermittently upon running. After too much time I finally conceded it had to be the switch I had just replaced and sure enough it was. On the outside looks and works great but where it counts needs improvement for long term.

plugs right in but key sets in a new location.

I ordered it mid November and got it February 16. It fit perfectly and operated flawlessly! If you have the time to wait, like I did, this would be the place to get it! 4 stars because of the time.

other then the time it took to receive it, its great. unplugged old one and plugged in the new ignition and no problem
