Digital Torque Wrench,AKM 1/2 Inch Drive 72-tooth 12.5-250Ft.Lbs/17-340N.m Accurate To 2% Clockwise & 2.5% Counterclockwise (2019 New Gen)

I recently bought a new Ford F150 that requires lug nut torque to be 150 ft/lb. My old Harbor Freight torque wrench only goes up to 80 ft/lb, so i needed to buy a new one. I've always wanted a digital one and this one was reasonably priced and i saw that the other AKM tools have great reviews. I have tested and compared this torque wrench to my old one at varying torque specs and it seems to be accurate. I love the digital display and it will also beep at a user specified torque number, so you don't have to be watching the display. I have not used the data cable, but will update if i do. It does multiple units of measure, but i've only tested the ft/lb, since that's really all i'll be using. The case is super nice and sturdy. The battery compartment comes with a little metal "key" to open it, but i also found that a quarter works great as well, in case you lose the little "key". Overall happy so far! Will update my review if i have any problems.

After browsing many digital 1/2 torque wrenches, I finally chose to stay in the two brands of AKM and ACDelco. ACDelco is better known, but other AKM tools also have good reviews. In the end, I went with the AKM (the functionality seems to be the same, but the price is better). I can't wait to get it after the payment.I knew I made a wise decision. The torque wrench itself had a very elaborate design, and the high-quality box contained everything that appeared on the picture.I use it for doing the cylinder head bearing bolts when rebuilding an engine. Accurate, easy to use. Buzzer and vibration function make it easy to know when you are approaching the setting if you are in a position that makes it hard to see the display.To make a long story short,this tool is awesome!

Received it and it appeared to work. The first time i went to use it and wouldnt turn on. Replaced batteries figuring that was the issue. It turned on gave me a bunch of 8's. Turned off and it wouldnt turn on again.UPDATE: Contacted the manufacturer on 6/8/19 was skeptical as dealing with offshore manufacturers can be difficult. I must say they communicated fast and with decent English. They gave me the option to refund money to buy another one or they could ship me one. I opted for being shipped a factory fresh one. They explained that it can take 7 - 21 days to receive. Their communication during this entire process was awesome.UPDATE 7/1/19: Received my replacement in the mail and it turns on but wont be able to test for a few days. Stay tuned. I increased my rating as they were very responsive to resolving the issue.

It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to learn how to use the buttons.I can't comment on the accuracy because I have no way to test it.But overall i like it better then manual wrench, because you have metric standard and all in between combination of scales, and with this new hugh tech cars if your requirements are 33.2 foot pounds you can't dial rhat on a manual torque wrench.I'm happy with the wrench

Very good quality Digital torque wrench! Clean grip ,balance nicely . I bought it for my pick truck ,and works perfect. Easy read Digital screen. My first time use it and not lost data ! Pretty cool ! The instructions was very easy to follow and the clicking was very audible . I would recommend this to all my mechanic friends . Thumb up!

Works and comes in a case. You do have to Calibrate every so often when the batteries die or says to do it every year, which means hookup to a computer. Came relabeled with the company sticker over another. Also if your wondering it is not US made can’t even read the batteries not a lick of English on them. didn’t test them to make sure they were Equivalent to a AA so do not know if that will make a difference in the future use.

Instructions are really poor. They were done by someone whose is English as a second language. I should not have to spend 30 minutes trying to figure out how to use a torque wrench. The PC connection cable they provide is a serial port. What computer comes with that anymore. The cheap Chinese batteries that came with this didn’t work. Yeah, frustrated. I normally give a mfg an opportunity to make it right, but I am not gonna bother.

The case and the digital torque wrench looks impressive when I got it. However, I found out that the vendor is using an outdated serial COM wire instead of USB for uploading memory which is NO use for current PC/Laptop. Then in the brochure for instruction etc, it doesn't have any contact eg phone or email for support from the vendor or manufacture!! Then when I was changing my car oil which required 40 Nm for the oil tank nut and 30 Nm for the filter, there is NO sound or click at all!! I regret I didn't buy a manual torque wrench instead. At this point, I am not sure if it work or not. I am thinking buy a manual torque and compare and troubleshoot it to the digital torque. It would be a very big help if there is a contact for support.
