So I bought this item at 19.99 USD with free shipping (about 40 cent per piece).Pros:1. Easy to use. The handle on the item makes it easy to insert into and remove from the USB port.2. It's constructed of hard plastic rather than soft which gives it longevity and makes it hard to break; soft plastic will degrade in time.Cons:1. It does 'stick out.' If you plan to use it for your devices, take note that this port plug's handle extends outwards and if you have some form of protective cover, it will add some space.2. Don't jam it in. Because of the hard plastic, you can easily damage the USB port if you aren't careful when inserting into it.Overall:As long it protected my USB port, I can live with the handle. Other than that, I found this item to be quite useful and I definitely would buy this again if I needed to. Anyone who is looking for a port plug to extend the life of the USB plug(s) on their devices should give this item some consideration.

These fit well and do the job. And they are inexpensive. No actual complaints, but I have some suggestions for making them more appealing. On the less-than-perfect side of the spectrum: I wish they were a bit more elegant. Handle is too big and clunky with hard plastic corners. I'd like these better if plastic was a bit softer, not so hard and pointy.

A USB cover, that works great, have the little knob so easy to remove when needed to.. I have a UPS with upward facing USB ports, which I dont leave the cords plugged into, and dont want something to fall in, so got these little bad boys, fit great, I feel my upward facing USB ports are safer and will stay clean.

Didn't know this product was around. I like the small handle to pull out when needed. These fit well with my USB Hub and snug. They feel like a soft plastic material. I also have the silicon ones and those are much harder to pull out on some devices. Some flush and some above depending on the device. As my photo shows they fit well with the buttons on my device. Yes I would buy again.

UPDATE 08/23/2014:It's now nearly September. I had thought that 50 was a pretty big number, good for a lifetime. Sheesh - I've already placed most of them! I remain impressed - they're just terrific.....these things are great.ORIGINAL POST:Ordered 10, computers seemed to swallow them, so ordered this package of 50. I'd also tried a package of the type with pyramid heads, but they're harder to work with. The little handles on these are not at all intrusive, and are truly handy. They're just little handy thingamajigs, but I'll never again be without them. This seller is excellent, so the entire experience is delightful.

I've used similar plugs that came with my motherboard to seal up ports on all my devices that have unused USB-A ports just for the peace of mind. I eventually needed more, and that's where these came in. Other ones on amazon are cheaper, but based off the reviews, are harder to pull out, and maybe don't seal as well.

A little harder plastic then I prefer, but they work as advertised.
