G9020-47031 Engine Coolant Inverter Water Pump Assembly with Bracket Replace 04000-32528, 0400032528, G902047031

It was easy to install and looked exactly as it should. It fit my 2003 Prius and ran perfectly after install. The lights on my dash all went away as well signaling it was functioning as it should.

I installed this pump in my 2009 Prius and it works perfect. I found it easier to take the headlight assembly out to make more room during the replacement. Auto Zone wanted almost $200 for the same part, so you can't beat the value.

This seemed like a good deal. I installed it properly. It worked, for a while, then it didn’t. I tapped it slightly and it started working. Next time, it didn’t again. I performed about a dozen cycles of turning the car off and on again. It was about 50% successful. 100% of the time that I tapped it, it started spinning. What I noticed was when it WAS spinning, it seemed slow. As an engineer, I'm gonna say it has bad torque margin. Maybe it was just this one, but why take the chance? What is your time worth? I spent time installing it (less than an hour - but I'm pretty good at this), only to have to reverse the install and put a new one in. The new one is OEM.Consider that even if you install one of these and it seems to work consistently, it may fail prematurely. You may not notice at first. I didn't. It suddenly threw a bunch of codes, and all hell broke loose - and that was with an inverter that hadn't failed, it had only overheated.

This is worth every penny. Doing research and installing the pump and bleed the inverted coolant pump system through watch several YouTube videos, all the lights on the dashboard turned off.

Replaced 3 months ago and so far no problems. I replaced the engine coolant valve assembly and I highly recommend you swap this pump at the same time. They are near each other and if you're swaping the coolant valve most likely because it's stuck there is a high wished I'd done this at the same time

I can hear this thing running when I press the Power button, which isn't normal, but at least I know when the Prius comes on that the inverter pump is still working. lol It's hard to really complain for how little it costs. It kept my old Gen 2 Prius on the road another few months, until I traded it in on a new one.
