awkward and limited usefulness
The opener is awkward to use because it is soft and floppy. Perhaps more importantly, it cannot handle really tight bottle caps, but only slips no matter how hard one grips.

Neatest kitchen gadget ever
I have arthritis in my hands. Got one of these because I was having trouble opening even a bottle of water. It works GREAT--so great, in fact that my boyfriend swiped it for his house while I ordered a second one. I recently ordered these for a couple of friends who have problems with arthritic hands. It's a great product

Very helpful 95% of the time
This has really helped me since my hands were scraped up in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. I was having so much trouble opening things, and my husband is at work all day while I work at home, so he can't help me. It's worked for almost everything that I've tried to open so far, with a bit of effort. Except a jar of homemade pickles proved too difficult. But even my perfectly able and strong neighbor had a hard time opening that one.

Bought one for my sister with arthritis in both hands and she had difficulty opening anything. She loves this! They don't give you a color option when you purchase, but because I thought they sent you 3 which picture depicts 3 colors so I thought it didn't matter. I lucked out because we liked the green one they sent. So if you're looking to purchase a specific color, it's NOT a choice! Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
