EDIT- after writing the below, their Customer Services contacted me and arranged the delivery of a replacement unit with no quibble. Very impressed, and the new unit is a newer version of their charger, so it looks like the problem is now solved.Sadly, this unit has started to flash more and more red lights when I insert batteries to be charged, then changing its mind when I insert more batteries, making a steady red charging light. Is the battery faulty or not??When I put the same batteries in a different charger, they charge up just fine.Used to work well, now I can't trust it :(

This battery charger was really easy to use and the LED indicators were very helpful in showing which batteries were charged and which were dead. I have used for just over a month or so now and it has charged the batteries consistently.

I would highly recommend Powerowl.I updated from an old charger and found this much quicker and easier to use as it was less bulky and held more batteries. I also bought a selection of the Powerowl batteries. I love it.I had my charger for over 6 months and for some reason it got stuck in green charge mode (that's technology I guess, a little fragile) but once I advised the seller, they immediately shipped a replacement with absolutely no quibble. Fantastic customer service!

This item saves you money although rechargables are dearer in the first place you only buy them once.

I purchased these to use in my Aqara video doorbell camera as there is no wired connection in my house. Originally, these seemed ground-breaking as they worked and recharged so easily. After about a month, it became clear that within just a FEW HOURS of putting freshly-charged batteries into my doorbell, the charge had depleted and they would need recharging. I tried to isolate this problem down to the doorbell initially but checking each setting. This meant disabling pretty much every feature (even the video itself) so that it would be as efficient as possible on the battery. The issue has constantly persisted. It’s been about 6 months and now the batteries are effectively useless. The capacity has gotten so weak that there’s virtually no point even using these batteries. When I put in non-rechargeable AAs (like Duracell), the doorbell lasts for about 6 weeks. When I use these, the doorbell lasts for about 1 hour. What’s the point in getting these if you need to charge them more regularly than your phone. Beyond disappointed with this purchase, and I wish more of the reviews had been written after a few months of battery deterioration instead of on day 1 of them working exceptionally well. Can’t dissuade you enough from getting these. They are now completely obsolete.

I loved this when I first bought it but after 18 months it has stopped. Perhaps that is the life span of the product. The unit seems to be working but it doesn’t charge the batteries and the lights remain on red. I thought the batteries may no longer work so tried some others but still the same result. I assume I have to throw it away and order a new one.
